Open Questions & Contradictions Log
Running list of gaps, ambiguities, and potential contradictions found while building the archive. Review and resolve in batches rather than one at a time.
✅ Resolved (as of this pass)
- Kila Vas — confirmed: Maf's central city, primary player entry point. See kila-vas.md.
- Currency naming — "Kila Vas credits" (as it appeared in The Hauler's Gambit) was a writing error. Official name is Helvatica Dollar, colloquial name is Kila Vas Dollar. See helvatica-dollar.md.
- Story-internal dates — confirmed: Maf uses Earth-like dates/months intentionally (in-universe reason TBD, expected to surface in ChatGPT material).
- NeoMechronica placement — creator has decided NOT to place NeoMechronica (and its sibling generated planets) in the game for now. Reclassified as a potential future development arc rather than active canon. See note below.
- Game title — officially changed from "Maf: Starfleet Battles" to simply Maf (subtitle unchanged). See game-title-naming-history.md. Older source material will keep the former title — not an error.
- World Bank ownership — confirmed: the World Bank is an LMT-owned portfolio corporation and the largest bank in Maf.
🟡 Intentional Design Ambiguity — NOT to be "fixed"
- Galactic Civil War start date — official date given as Maf year 2006, but creator has confirmed this is deliberately not meant to be accurate in-universe — a "fog of history / fog of documentation" effect, left for players to notice and puzzle over. Any future source material that states a different start date should be logged, not reconciled — see the table in galactic-civil-war.md.
🔵 Still Open
- Generic economy mechanics brainstorm (conv #50) — a short ChatGPT exchange proposes generic MMORPG economy mechanics (crafting, NPC vendors, player-run shops, supply/demand) with no reference to established currencies (Helvatica Dollar/Stellar Credit) or other canon systems. Not merged into any systems page. Creator should confirm whether any of these generic mechanics should be formally adopted. See RAW SOURCE: "Sci-Fi MMORPG Economy".
- Razor's Reach leader — unnamed. Worth naming if the faction reappears.
- General Kradok's territory — not named in this story; may be defined elsewhere.
- "Crisis at Icebound Station" — referenced by the creator in two separate ChatGPT conversations (conv #4 and conv #28), both times asking whether the AI had created it; both times the AI said no. Confirmed to be a real scenario the creator is tracking down, not a one-off slip — but origin still unconfirmed. Worth locating in the export.
- Kila Vas full profile — population, governance, districts, etc. — pending, expected to surface as ChatGPT material is processed.
- Why Maf uses Earth-like dates — reason not yet documented; pending.
- Loan interest rates/default consequences — not specified in the banking article; worth checking economy-related ChatGPT threads.
- Real-time vs. game-time economy split — the banking article specifies principal repayment happens on a game-time cadence, but interest is paid by the player (not the character) weekly in real time. This is a notable design pattern worth watching for elsewhere — not a contradiction, but a mechanic that blends real-world and in-fiction economy in a way that should stay consistent across other systems docs.
- ✅ RESOLVED (provisional) — Two distinct LMTs. Earth's LMT Corporation = "Lion, Mass-Tech" (built the Ark Royal, led by Vee) — see LMT Corporation (Earth). Maf's LMT = "Landfall Manufacturing & Trade" (owns the World Bank) — see LMT (Maf). Whether one is a continuation/rebrand of the other is not yet confirmed. This also plausibly explains the earlier-flagged "Lion, Maf-Terra" candidate as a garbled memory of "Lion, Mass-Tech." Both names flagged as provisional per creator note.
- Aa Konta / Perold Jones connection — Prophecy #7's outsider founding a settlement at a "northwestern sea" strongly resembles Perold Jones's westward exodus in the ChatGPT export material. Not yet confirmed as the same event/person — flag for confirmation once more material is reviewed.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Kaolsani vs. Kaolsan. Kaolsan is the name of both the language and the desert tribes/peoples of the Norihing continent (Maf's largest, site of nearly all established history). Kaolsani is the plural/possessive form. This also newly established Norihing as the shared continent for Kila Vas, Jonesboro, the Shapas Desert, the Dielvan Wac Desert, and The Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus). See Norihing and Gherallis/Kaolsan.
- Aa Konta's era vs. the Ark Royal colonists — Aa Konta lived 165–230 AD, which (if Maf's calendar aligns with Earth-style dating as confirmed) would place him many centuries before the colonists' 1893+ arrival — suggesting the Kaolsani are indigenous to Maf, not descended from Earth colonists. Worth confirming this framing is intentional.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Perold Jonas vs. Perold Jones. Same person. Perold Jones changed his name to Perold Jonas a few months after reaching a place called "Janast" (not yet otherwise documented — possible unconfirmed connection to the Janastian Warhawks given the name similarity). Full timeline pending ChatGPT export processing. See Perold Jones (later Perold Jonas).
- Ark Royal confirmed — the official site (mafstarfleetbattles.com) confirms the founding origin story: 300,000 refugees fleeing Earth's early-21st-century wars aboard the "Ark Royal," crash-landing and later building an empire whose capital is Kila Vas. This strongly corroborates the Aa Konta prophecy connection flagged earlier — not yet built into a dedicated archive page, pending fuller ChatGPT export processing.
- ✅ RESOLVED — 1st Viachon War located. It's the subject of its own article: Helvatica Space Command (forerunner to Starfleet) vs. a 3-ship Viachon patrol under Captain An'Kasal — first hostile contact between Helvatica and the Viachon Empire. Confirms a three-war structure (1st, 2nd, and an implied unlocated 3rd Viachon War, each successively deadlier). See First Viachon War.
- Viachon vs. Galactic Civil War timeline — unclear whether the Viachon conflict is contemporaneous with, precedes, or follows the Galactic Civil War established elsewhere.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Viachon is a full empire. Confirmed via The Great Lottery article as "Viachon Empire." Updated on the Viachon faction page.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Jonesboro confirmed as a real location. Appears in the lottery article as the home of the record $1.6T jackpot winner, strongly matching the LMT/Jonesboro founding storyline in the ChatGPT export. Formal merge/confirmation still pending fuller export processing — see Jonesboro.
- Subaas Star Republic — new nation, minimal detail (see faction stub). Government, territory, relationship to other powers unknown.
- ✅ RESOLVED — MACOFS. Stands for "Maf Confederation of Free Societies." Creator confirms it bears no direct relation to the Great Lottery despite sharing part of the name ("MACOFS Lottery" is coincidental/unexplained naming overlap). See MACOFS.
- ✅ REFINED — Jonesboro's political status. Confirmed as a City-State Planetary Government via the Planetary Governments article, not merely a generic location. See Jonesboro.
- Desert Empire ↔ Shapas Desert — possible but unconfirmed connection; "Desert Empire" appears in the Planetary Governments roster with capital Maiha. Worth checking against Shapas Desert material once ChatGPT export is processed.
- Ros ↔ Henry Patterson — possible but unconfirmed connection between the nation "Ros" (Planetary Governments roster) and NPC "Henry Patterson — President — Ros" (NPC roster article).
- "Ranch" governance type — a distinctive Maf nation category (privately-owned sovereign entities run as ranches). No ranch nation has been detailed beyond being named yet — good candidate for future worldbuilding/quest content.
- Nation purchase hierarchy confirmed — three-tier system (Planetary Government / Space-Traveling Civilization / Starnation) with real-USD purchase pricing formulas. See Buying a Country.
- Starnation pricing formula ambiguity — the article's stated divisor for the Starnation cost formula reads inconsistently against the pattern set by the other two tiers. Logged as published, not corrected — flag if this comes up again in other source material.
- Starnations index (129+ pages) — glimpsed on the official site (mafstarfleetbattles.com/starnations) during an earlier search but not yet processed in detail. Large potential source of nation-level lore.
- Ranch vs. purchased Planetary Government — unclear whether "Ranch" is a fixed pre-existing category some nations have, or a designation any player could apply after purchasing a Planetary Government.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Starnation station count. "So You Want to Buy a Country?" said 2+ orbital stations; "3,000 Corporations" said 4+. Creator has confirmed 2+ is canon; the 4+ figure is superseded. Original text of both preserved in
/raw-sources. - ✅ RESOLVED — corrected math error. "3,000 Corporations" stated HD 100,000/year equals "1 US cent per year" — should be $0.10/year per the confirmed exchange rate. Creator confirmed the correction; canon figure updated. Purchase price ($0.30 USD) was already correct and unaffected. Original text preserved in
/raw-sources. See Corporation Purchase Tiers. - Rwechyn Oasis — new detail placing part of Kila Vas at/near a desert oasis called Rwechyn Oasis. Possible unconfirmed connection to the Shapas Desert.
- Two different "Tier" systems use the same terminology — the business-purchase tiers (36/30/20/12) and the game-license tiers (1–4, seen on the official site) are unrelated systems that happen to share the word "Tier." Worth flagging clearly in any future material to avoid confusing the two.
- ✅ RESOLVED/CORRECTED — World War 3 was fought on Norihing, not Earth. A continental war, 1976–1987, instigated by the Desert Empire against Empire (defender), with other Norihing nations allying to one side or the other as it progressed. See World War 3. (Corrects earlier archive entries that assumed this was an Earth conflict.)
- ✅ RESOLVED — The Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus) + Janastian Warhawks linked, and "The Empire" naming explained: the full formal name is unwieldy, so it became known throughout history and across Norihing simply as "The Empire" — a deliberate in-universe convention. Confirmed as WW3 defender; Janastian Warhawks as its post-war ally 1988–2000. What happened to either after 2000 remains unknown.
- ✅ FURTHER RESOLVED — WW3 and the Galactic Civil War are in different galaxies entirely. Maf/Norihing sits in the Snickers Galaxy; the Galactic Civil War occurs solely in the Milky Way. The two galaxies intersect only at the Confluence Region. This also resolves a prior unexplained detail: The Hauler's Gambit references "the Milky Way" even though it's centered on Kila Vas (Snickers Galaxy) — ships can reach Milky Way space via the Confluence Region. See Snickers Galaxy, Confluence Region, and the updated Galactic Civil War and World War 3 pages.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Player entry year is now January 1977 — near the beginning of World War 3 (1976–1987), superseding both the earlier 1988 and 1984 figures found in prior source material. This is a brand-new creator decision made in this session, not yet published anywhere else — noted here as the authoritative record since it exists nowhere else yet.
- ✅ CLARIFIED — Kila Vas "Old" (1980–1987) vs. "New" (1988–2000+) is a real estate purchase rule-set convention, not a strict claim about the city's historical development — per creator. Players buy and build under one rule set in "Old" Kila Vas and a different rule set in "New" Kila Vas (1988–2000). Still roughly maps to real chronological eras, and the 1988 transition still lines up with WW3's end. See Kila Vas.
- "Longwoods" area of Kila Vas — new district name (Sports Team Owner role mentions a mansion there). Not yet detailed further.
- ✅ RESOLVED — MACOFS fully detailed. Founded Jan 1, 2007, capital Kila Vas, 22 member states, emerged from the dissolved New World Maf Government (NWMG, 2000–2007). See MACOFS.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Kila Vas's complete political lineage established: United Kaolsan Emirates (pre-1976) → Kila Vas Military District (1976–1984) → Helvatica (1984–2000) → NWMG (2000–2007) → MACOFS (2007–present). See Kila Vas.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Helvatica Dollar naming origin corrected. The currency is named after the nation of Helvatica and General Johovus Helvatica — not directly after Kila Vas as previously assumed. See Helvatica (Nation) and Helvatica Dollar.
- ✅ NEW — United Kaolsan Emirates confirmed, extending the Kaolsan/Kaolsani peoples' political history forward to just before WW3 (1976) — over a millennium after Aa Konta's era (165–230 AD). Relationship between the "extinct" Gherallis tribe specifically and the broader surviving-until-WW3 Kaolsan confederation not yet reconciled — worth watching.
- MACOFS Treaty signatories not yet detailed: Byzautaus Confederation, CCF (Corporation Combined Fleet), Iryan, Lendro Sek, Maniskam Provinces, Peteten, Sahlem Interstellar Federation, Scollonia, Suraghudo, Three Civilizations, Tri-Stellar Federation. See The MACOFS Treaty.
- ✅ RESOLVED — "Empire of Man" identified. Confirmed via "War of IFTR" as the successor state to IFTR (Interstellar Federation of the Terran Republic), Earth's interstellar empire, which collapsed after a disastrous peace treaty following its war with Maf. See Empire of Man and IFTR.
- 21 non-Kila-Vas MACOFS member starnations — named only, no further detail: Abrah-Jahlulsban, Amiarol, Androxks, Asdor, Dlunkgais, Gudin, Irilax, Kadisol, L'Sel, Nenmek, Ohirat, Pabivof, Saib, Shiras, Shlotroq, Skevidi, Talul, Vidersai, Wethrosn, Zein-imar.
- Teful, Haniah, Tisivet, Dagorb — the four nations absorbed into Kila Vas's city limits in 2006/2007 — named only, no further detail.
- 🟤 "MACOFS and the MACOFS Treaty" flagged as a muddy source — creator confirms this article contains some inaccuracies, ambiguous statements, and unclear details beyond the WW3 end-date phrasing already fixed. All facts sourced solely from it (MACOFS, The MACOFS Treaty, Helvatica, United Kaolsan Emirates) are provisional — expect further corrections as we continue through the material.
- Perold Jonas — General in the War of IFTR (5300 A.D.) confirmed — major new military chapter. See Perold Jones (later Perold Jonas).
- ✅ RESOLVED — major chronology gap explained. Earth year 5300 A.D. (War of IFTR) corresponds to approximately Maf year 2005. Maf runs its own internal calendar, distinct from Earth's actual year-numbering. See Dating Systems: Earth Years vs. Maf Years. This places the War of IFTR remarkably close to the Galactic Civil War (~2006) and MACOFS's founding (2007) — a striking, likely-connected cluster flagged for future confirmation.
- Admiral Vasalo Sutoi — new character, co-commander of Maf's fleet in the War of IFTR alongside Perold Jonas. No further background yet.
- InterGalactic Authority (IGA) — governance structure, staffing, and current status not detailed beyond its founding role.
- Empire of Man internal structure — no named warlords/rulers given yet; current relationship with Maf as of "present day" not established.
- ✅ RESOLVED — typo correction. "War of IFTR" states the Empire of Man covers "90%" of the Milky Way — creator confirms this should read 60%. Corrected on Empire of Man and the story page; original "90%" preserved in
/raw-sourceswith a flag note. - 3rd Viachon War — implied by "First Viachon War"'s closing line but not yet located in any processed source material.
- Helvatica Space Command → "Starfleet" — confirmed as forerunner institution, but the transition/formalization into "Starfleet" as a named institution is not yet documented.
- Genashon — confirmed as a Viachon distance unit (20 genashon = 297,000 miles, ≈14,850 miles per genashon). Origin/broader usage not detailed.
- ✅ NEW — Ark Royal launch fully detailed, including LMT's founding role and the character Vee, who led its construction. See Ark Royal and Vee.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Vee ≠ Perold Jones/Jonas, confirmed as different people (see item 82 below).
- ✅ RESOLVED — no connection. The historical "Great Lottery" used to select Ark Royal passengers bears no relation to the in-game Helvatica Luminary "Great Lottery" nickname — creator confirms these are unconnected despite the shared name. Treat as coincidental naming reuse, not a thematic namesake.
- Two different "World War Three" conflicts — this article's Earth-based, feared (not yet confirmed to have occurred at time of launch) WW3 is distinct from the already-documented World War 3 (Norihing) (1976–1987, fought on Maf). Flagged as either a deliberate cultural-echo naming reuse by the Original Colonists' descendants, or worth clarifying — not a contradiction, since they're explicitly different wars on different planets, but the shared name is worth tracking.
- ✅ Parts Two and Three of the Original Colonists series have been provided and fully processed — see items 68+ below for what they resolved. Awaiting a possible Part Four or beyond, if one exists.
- ✅ NEW — Perold Jones's true origin confirmed. Born aboard the Ark Royal during transit — first baby born on the ship, son of Anita and Eric Jones. See Perold Jones and Original Colonists Part Two.
- ✅ SUBSTANTIALLY EASED — Perold Jones's lifespan tension. With Jonesboro's founding confirmed at 1893 (Maf local calendar), the real gap to his generalship (~Maf 2005) is ~112 years — a very long life, but not the ~2,000+ year impossibility earlier feared. No longer treated as a severe contradiction; still worth watching for an explicit explanation (advanced medicine, life extension, etc.).
- ✅ RESOLVED — "New Hope" vs. "Maf." "Maf" is the planet's native name, used by its indigenous population; "New Hope" was the Colonists' own temporary working name, dropped after first contact.
- ✅ RESOLVED — the Kaolsani are indigenous to Maf, confirmed by the creator — not descended from the Original Colonists or any other off-world source. The pre-existing giant civilization (6–7 ft average, up to 8'4") encountered by the Ark Royal is confirmed to be the Kaolsan/Kaolsani peoples. See also item 78.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Ark Royal landing distance, final answer: 208 miles from landfall. (Revision history: article said 200 → corrected to 280 to match the official site → creator has now set final canon to 208.) See Ark Royal.
- Fate of Anita and Eric Jones (Perold Jones's parents) after the crash not detailed.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Maf's actual size/gravity. Diameter is ~56,000 miles (not ~100,000 as the article's in-story sensor reading suggested); gravity is 1.0987 g (the article's "1.1–1.2 gees" estimate was essentially correct, so no real anomaly). See Maf (Planet), a new dedicated planet page.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Two distinct LMTs, relationship confirmed. Earth's LMT ("Lion, Mass-Tech," built the Ark Royal) and Maf's LMT ("Landfall Manufacturing & Trade," owns the World Bank) are separate companies — Maf's LMT was founded 1898 by the Jones family specifically as a tribute to Earth's LMT/Vee. See LMT (Maf) and LMT Corporation (Earth).
- ✅ RESOLVED — "Janast" identified. The nation on the main island of the Janastian Islands archipelago — where Perold Jones renamed himself Perold Jonas in 1939. This also resolves the naming origin of the Janastian Warhawks.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Jonesboro's founding fully documented, including its exact founding date (1893), naming (the Jones family), and initial population (~300,000). See Jonesboro.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Maf's giant natives = the Kaolsan/Kaolsani peoples. Confirmed by the creator: the Kaolsani are indigenous to Maf. See Gherallis/Kaolsan and Maf (Planet), both updated.
- ✅ RESOLVED — the "great river" in Aa Konta's prophecies/the Gherallis tribe's travels and Perold Jones's expedition are confirmed to be the same river. Also: Jones's expedition departed Jonesboro in 1932, not 1922 as previously recorded (corrected on Perold Jones and Janastian Islands).
- ✅ RESOLVED — Durin College of War fully detailed. Single major ("War," divided into courses like Art and Science of Warfare, Military Leadership, Naval Warfare Studies), 50% classroom/wargaming + 50% field exercises, largest military archive on the planet (material from 3 continents). Jonas attended 1940–May 1944, graduated 3rd in his class, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant by the College, admitted to the Janastian Army the next day. See Durin College of War.
- ✅ RESOLVED (approximately) — Colonists' cover story status. The "far east refugee" story was blown sometime in the 1990s — exact date not yet known, expected in additional source material. Updated on Ark Royal and Maf (Planet).
- ✅ RESOLVED — Vee remained on Earth. He did not board the Ark Royal or any shuttle, staying behind as they launched. This also definitively rules out any Vee ↔ Perold Jones identity connection (Perold Jones was born aboard the ship). See Vee.
- ✅ Player Experience article fully archived, sourcing the 1988/1984 player-entry-year figures directly (both now superseded by the January 1977 decision). Correction: Stellar Credits and Helvatica Dollars are NOT the same currency — they're distinct, 1:1-interchangeable currencies with different issuers/purposes (Stellar Credit = "politically neutral" alternative, sometimes spelled "Stellar Kredit" due to its K-like symbol). See Player Experience & Onboarding and the new Stellar Credit entry.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Game License tier system fully mapped, Tiers 1–8. See Post-Training Systems for the complete table, from $1 Table License up to the $250,000 Tier 8 Ultra Game License (which bundles licenses from Tiers 1–7). Minor unresolved detail: stated bundle counts per tier don't cleanly match the number of items listed for each tier — logged as published.
- Final status note: All ~26 available Maf-related Medium articles have now been processed (2 more than originally estimated turned up along the way). Remaining known source material: 4 ChatGPT export JSON files (only 1 of 4 processed so far — see items 15/48 for the rich LMT/Jonesboro/Kas-Do/Peacekeeper/DESCO backstory glimpsed there), plus the shelved NPC Roster blogspot pages (item 19/roster page) and Corporate Index sub-articles (construction companies, military academies, propulsion systems, space services, starship builders).
- 🔴 INVALIDATED — "Get Instant Income..." declared invalid in whole by the creator. Moved out of the active archive to Invalidated Content Addendum, preserved there for historical record only. No longer referenced as part of the game's real-world business material.
- ✅ NEW — ChatGPT export processing begun. Conversation #6 ("Fate RPG Familiarity") from conversations-000.json fully processed — revealed Perold Jonas's MACOFS Executive Director of Defense role, the Janastian Warhawks' founding/scale (~28M members)/insurance business model, the Janast-Combin War, the full confirmed Viachon Wars timeline (3 wars, ~12 years, MACOFS lost 2 won 1), and confirmed the source of the old "Lion, Maf-Terra" LMT name. New entities: David Jones, Tammi Li Akarin, Combin.
- Remaining conversations-000.json content: 3 more identified Maf-relevant conversations in this file are extremely large (conv #22 "Government to Commercial Shift" ~400K chars, #30 "Playable MMORPG from Concept" ~540K chars, #97 "Kila Vas Financial Growth" ~1.3M chars) — too large to process in a single pass. Will need targeted/ chunked processing (search for key terms, read in sections) across multiple sessions. Several smaller Maf-related conversations in this file remain unprocessed too: #4 (NeoMechronica, already covered), #15, #17, #18, #20, #27, #28, #35, #37, #38, #40, #41, #42, #46, #50, #78 (uncertain relevance).
- ✅ MAJOR — Conversation #22 ("Government to Commercial Shift") fully processed. This was a ~400K-character master history document covering nearly all of Maf's modern political/military history in detail. Resulted in: a fully detailed WW3 campaign narrative; Spartania (wartime hoax → real nation); Fainbrotair (site of Jonas's nuclear strike, 6M civilian deaths); Jon Medaris (resolves the old unlinked NPC roster entry — Desert Empire Emperor, WW3 instigator, DESCO founder, first NWMG President); DESCO; Jahfaz; Lum's Worlds; a consolidated WW3-era nations reference (Zambetq, Araha, Whyncloss, Republics of Waon, NUN, World Council, King Rudyland/PejSha); Moons of Maf (22 confirmed, several named — Magruder, Varsalla, Shale Rock, Tenforgay, Kenudgem/Retarguim); Maf's sun (Allotrox); the Kila Vas 1999–2000 reforms (Peacekeepers, Free Zones, time viewers, teleportation); a much richer MACOFS founding-committee narrative; confirmation Empire of Man = 16 warlords; and a new "Io Sei" ship/ faction mention (unresolved).
- ✅ RESOLVED — Jonas's arrival in Janast: 1939, confirmed correct. The "1930, shipborne refugee group" account was inaccurate and has been removed. Confirmed: Perold Jones arrived 1939 aboard 3 seaplanes built in what is now Refagio; all but 5 (including Perold) returned to Refagio afterward. See Perold Jones and Refagio (new page).
- ✅ RESOLVED — Jonesboro's founding date. Confirmed by creator: the area was first settled in 1893; the city of Jonesboro was formally founded in 1895. This resolves the earlier "1885 vs. 1893" discrepancy — 1885 was simply inaccurate. Updated on Jonesboro and Perold Jones.
- ✅ NEW — Jonesboro's secret-origin cover story detailed. Secretly shared with The Empire (1973) and with Whyncloss's government (1970s, under a 20-year confidentiality agreement — scheduled for disclosure in year 2000, suspiciously coinciding with the NWMG's founding). Peplle was never told. See Jonesboro.
- 🔴 RETCONNED — Fainbrotair nuclear strike did not happen. The creator has confirmed this event never occurred — it was inconsistent with Jonas's character. Removed from Fainbrotair, Perold Jonas, and Janastian Warhawks. How the Janast-Combin War actually concluded is pending later source material, per the creator. ✅ Also new: MACOFS's founding event was the "Constitutional Conference," December 2005 – May 2006 — added to MACOFS. Other precise dates from this pass remain: Combin attacks Janast Christmas Day 1973; Northern Army command 1978; decisive WW3 offensive May 31, 1987; Helvatica Chief of Military Forces 1988; space assault on Zambetq July 1991; Kila Vas reforms 1999–2000.
- "Io Sei" warships — 2 incurred into MACOFS space, unclear faction/identity. Possibly Empire of Man-affiliated, not confirmed.
- Johovus Helvatica's role independently corroborated — confirmed via ChatGPT export as Jonas's deputy commander in the Janastian Warhawks, later Helvatica's first military governor then first President — consistent with (and strengthening confidence in) the "muddy source" Medium article's account of the same facts.
- ✅ RESOLVED (corrected) — Kas-Do/Peacekeeper relationship. The original "two distinct AIs" account (built from "Playable MMORPG from Concept") was incorrect. Creator's correction: Peacekeepers are humanoid AI serving multiple roles (primarily MACOFS Army soldiers), with a subset specially programmed as Kila Vas police. Kas-Do were Peacekeepers until they split off — a breakaway faction, not a separately-created AI. See the rewritten Kas-Do & Peacekeeper page. Other details from this conversation (present-day year 2020, 3-chapter structure since superseded, Kila Vas geography, KVSOI/KVUSOI, LMT merger, conflicting Viachon War dates) remain as previously logged, though now under extra scrutiny given this correction.
- ⚠️ Viachon War dates conflict. "Playable MMORPG from Concept" gives 1999/2001–2002/2004 for the three wars (~5 years total); "Fate RPG Familiarity" said "nearly 12 years." Not reconciled — both logged on Viachon Empire.
- LMT Earth/Maf merger — confirmed to have happened after the 2005 IFTR war, but the mechanism isn't detailed. See LMT Corporation (Earth).
- Slingshots, Stargates, and "Oyster Shells" — three types of ancient, unknown-race artifacts/structures introduced in this conversation (FTL transit devices and mysterious sealed containers with untranslated writing). Not yet built into dedicated archive pages — flagged for a future pass.
- Remaining unprocessed material: conversation #97 ("Kila Vas Financial Growth," ~1.3M characters — the largest single conversation in this file) is still fully unprocessed. Smaller Maf-related conversations in conversations-000.json also remain: #15, #17, #18, #20, #27, #28, #35, #37, #38, #40, #41, #42, #46, #50, #78. Three more ChatGPT export JSON files (conversations-001 through 003, presumably) remain entirely unprocessed.
- 🔴 RESOLVED — chapter titles superseded. "Maf: Starfleet Battles," "Maf: Empires," "Maf: StarQuest," and a 4th title have all been dropped by the creator. New chapter titles/structure are expected in a later, unprocessed export file. See Maf — Present Day, now marked superseded. This also moots the March 2020 vs. May 20, 2020 chapter-transition date discrepancy flagged between conversations #30 and #15.
- Systematic "smallest-first" pass of conversations-000.json underway. Processed so far (this pass): #37, #20, #18, #50, #41 (excluded, see To Review), #78 (moved to Developer Guidance), #35 (moved to Speculative Material), #17 (excluded — duplicate of Space Plate article), #46 (built as canon — FPS Intro Scenarios) — all processed. #42 built out as Planet Generation System. #15 built out as Sample Starnations & Space Stations, and its game-chapter framework marked superseded per creator confirmation.
- ✅ MAJOR — Conversation #27 ("NPC Flaws RPG") resolves nearly the entire NPC Roster. Full backgrounds and motivations for 15 of the original 20-name roster, plus confirmation that a randomly-generated "Isabella 'Izzy' Ramirez" matches the roster's previously-unlinked entry. This effectively supersedes the long-standing "blogspot pages unreachable" blocker from early in this archive's history. See NPC Full Profiles.
- ✅ Archive reorganization — templates moved to Developer Guidance. All content-generation templates (NPC Generation Template, Planet Generation System, Sample Starnations & Space Station Naming) relocated from
/systemsto/developer-guidance, since they're process/tooling content rather than fixed in-universe facts. Applies going forward to any future templates encountered. - ✅ Conversation #40 ("Generate Entities for MMORPG") processed — real hallucination caught and excluded. Messages 0–37 (clean corporate-entity generation for 11 starnations, plus confirmation of 2020=5300AD dating and the $540,000/year income figure) archived at Business/ Corporation Entity Generation. Update: the creator has since confirmed the Frafer Thelyon Trade Commonwealth (message 38) and TradeStar Consortium (message 49, post-correction) are both accurate and have been added to the archive. Only message 39 ("Galactispace Confederation," an unrequested, unrelated starnation) remains excluded as the genuine hallucination — see To Review.
- ✅ Conversation #5 ("Sci-Fi MMORPG 'Maf: Starfleet'") processed — major Viachon Empire expansion, no contradictions. Confirms the 53rd century/5300 AD dating, the Snickers/Milky Way/Confluence Region setup, and 500+ starnations. Gives a full, richly-detailed, and fully consistent expansion of the Viachon Empire (808 planets, capital Viachon Viachon, 10 trillion population, Imperial Council government, warrior/honor culture balanced against a strong conservation ethic). 15 other sample starnations/scenarios logged at Scenario System & Sample Scenarios with titles only, not full descriptions.
- ✅ RESOLVED — starnation count. "542 starnations" (this conversation) doesn't contradict the earlier "200+" figure — per the creator, the count grew over the course of development; current canon is ~543–545 starnations. Also notes a coincidental name reuse ("Luminastra," already used in the shelved NeoMechronica planet set) and reconfirms "Crisis at Icebound Station" remains unlocated. See Planet Description Generation.
- ✅ Conversation #38 ("Quest Hooks for Maf") processed. New systems content: Career Agents (mission- assignment NPCs, 4 Contract classes) and refined XP/Skill Point/neurochip mechanics. Confirmed Peplle's climate (no jungles; Mediterranean coast, temperate inland) and introduced Hunter's Ranch (~1,000 mi NE of Kila Vas). ✅ Ark Royal origin-story figures now resolved (see item 110). "Crisis at Icebound Station" asked a third time, still unresolved. Sample quests for ~50 roles logged at Sample Quests by Role.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Ark Royal origin-story figures. Creator confirms: casualties were 3,051 killed, 17,236 injured (the detailed figures were correct); the Ark Royal departed Earth in 2037; distance from Earth to Maf is 75,000 light years. All updated on Ark Royal, with the "early 21st century" departure framing tightened to 2037 on IFTR and War of IFTR.
- ⚠️⚠️ MAJOR — Conversation #97 ("Kila Vas Financial Growth") processing begun — PARTIAL, given ~1.3M character size (the largest single conversation in the export files). Major threads processed:
- The "Jonesboro Posse" storyline finally surfaces (referenced since the very start of this archive's processing): Perold Jones, disillusioned as a Fellow Associate, leads public demonstrations 1927–1930, negotiates a truce (1930) after associates start dying under mysterious circumstances, departs with 300 followers in 1932. See Perold Jones.
- ⚠️ Major sensitive reveal: the Jones family (100+ members aboard the Ark Royal) were cloned in Vee's labs — a secret unrevealed even in 2020.
- New ideological factions: Integrators, Builders, "Insiders" secret society vs. a tech-access "dissenter" faction.
- Numeric conflicts in a restated origin story (distance, landing miles, passenger count) — all resolved by creator, see item 110.
- "Treaty of Starbase 17" — official name for the IFTR peace treaty. See IFTR.
- LMT Earth/Maf merger fully detailed, with named executives and CEO Verkanon Meredith. See LMT (Earth).
- Empire of Man's full history: named warlords (George Drake, Io Sei/Tiko Amata, Huang Li Shao/Xi Xi Han), 2013/2017 dates, 60% Milky Way territory (double-confirms the earlier 90%→60% typo correction). ✅ Warlord count (13 vs. 16) since resolved — see item 114.
- ✅ "Io Sei" resolved — a Japanese-heritage warlord faction, not a ship class; their May 2020 incursion into MACOFS space is now dated and contextualized.
- New major antagonist: Overlord — an authoritarian AI controlling ~90% of a neighboring galaxy, currently MACOFS's primary strategic focus (creating dramatic irony given the Empire of Man's growing threat).
- Janastian Warhawks present-day detail: ~30M members, 3,000+ warships, sovereign statehood, Defense Insurance now a $1M–$10M/day range, present-day Milky Way political tensions. ✅ Confirmed accurate by creator, no changes needed.
- MACOFS scale independently confirmed: 500+ planets across 22 starnations, matching the existing archive count exactly.
- New tracking file created per creator request: "For Development", for story arcs with broad strokes established but full detail not yet written.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Ark Royal origin-story figures reconfirmed (see item 110) and ✅ the AI hierarchy expansion processed: Peacekeepers have two advanced "brothers," StarLords and TimeLords; the "Denagatha" (a defeated militant avian species) resolved. See Kas-Do & Peacekeeper.
- ✅ The 4/5 States geography resolved and corrected by creator. Dagorb, Tisivet, Teful, Haniah voted to join Kila Vas in the November 2006 plebiscite, becoming the "4 States Region." Arme' (the historical 5th "Commonwealth State") chose independence at the NWMG's dissolution instead. See The 4 States Region and Arme'.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Empire of Man warlord count (13 vs. 16). Per creator: more than 16 warlords originally existed; some were killed as the civil war progressed. When the "Empire of Man" name was tentatively adopted, 16 remained; 3 were later disposed of (by the remaining 13, or an unknown party), leaving 13 warlords ruling today. The EOM remains in ongoing flux. See Empire of Man.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Isle of Trade governance and geography, per creator. The Isle of Trade is a fully independent sovereign entity with no centralized government (explaining its endemic corruption and competing crime families). Deni Ranch oversees its foreign policy/external security; the Janastian Warhawks also maintain a 10-member garrison there for external security. Geography resolved: "Lake Deni" and "the Great River" are not contradictory — Lake Deni is simply the point where the Great River widens into a broad lake. See Isle of Trade, fully rewritten.
- Still remaining from conv #97 (large volume, tabled for future sessions per creator's "focused chunks" preference): Kila Vas sports culture (Zoota, Quasar Clash, Infinite Football), extensive bar/restaurant/music-venue content (Rwechyn Oasis, Binghis Street, Casino Strip, the "4 Mile," Jonesboro restaurants), and a diplomatic vignette involving the Empire's first encounter with trains via Peplle (Ambassador Tosil). See the raw source notes for the full list.
- ✅ Kila Vas sports culture processed. Built out: professional wrestling ("K-VR"), casino sports betting, and 3 unique local sports (Quasar Clash, Sandrift Skirmish, Zoota), plus Big Zoota (full backstory + the "Inferno Clash" rivalry match), Underhive (bohemian underground neighborhood + Kila Vas's "thoroughfares" system), and Georges Le Duceau (Infinite Football star). Still remaining: Rwechyn Oasis/Binghis Street bars and bands, Casino Strip, the "4 Mile," Jonesboro restaurants, Ambassador Tosil/trains vignette.
- ⚠️⚠️ CRITICAL — ChatGPT export reliability flagged by creator. ChatGPT itself began generating errors, hallucinations, and inaccuracies in nearly every export conversation — not just the creator's own evolving ideas. All 22 archive pages built from conversations #6, #22, and #30 have been retroactively flagged with a "pending accuracy review" banner and downgraded from settled canon to provisional. See ChatGPT Source Reliability — Review Tracker for the full list and process going forward. Future ChatGPT-sourced conversations will be processed with greater built-in skepticism.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Janastian Warhawks formalization date/location. Per creator: formalized as an independent sovereign entity in 1976, in Kila Vas — coinciding with WW3's outbreak and Jonas's arrival there. This is the point at which the Warhawks became the sovereign entity known elsewhere in this archive; the ~1969 Janast-era organization was a precursor, not the same legal entity. See Janastian Warhawks.
- ✅ Rwechyn Oasis / Binghis Street processed. Built out: the district page, Binghis Street itself, 3 bands (Max T and the Del Rey Casters, Triple 8 Fate, Nightshade), and 11 individually- documented venues (Ladd's, Samuel O'Dowd's, 19 Sports, The Beetles, Rick and Natty's Emporium, Commerce Center, The Purple Scarab, Sandstorm Sushi, Nomad's Noodles, Cajun Catfish, Sam's Sea Shack), plus a listicle of 9 more venues with only brief descriptions available (River Divers, Den of Thieves, Tunapin Place, Club Nocturne, Randy's Skittle, BJ's DJ, Lori's, Matt's Hot Dogs, Ice Martin's).
- ✅ RESOLVED — Perold Jonas's name-change motive confirmed. Per creator: changed his name from Jones to Jonas before enrolling at the Durin College of War, for two reasons — (A) to further distance himself from his family and LMT, and (B) to blend in with the local Janastian populace, among whom "Jonas" was a common surname. See Perold Jonas.
- ✅ NEW — "Business" category created, per creator instruction. All businesses of any kind (interpreted broadly: small local businesses through major corporations) now live in
/business, organized by subcategory. Migrated: 5 restaurants, bars/nightclubs, 2 entertainment venues, Tonnabrae Media, LMT (Maf), LMT (Earth), DESCO, and the World Bank. Format designed to map cleanly onto a future website (category index → business list → business detail page with clickable owner/employee links to character bios) — for now, same markdown structure as the rest of the archive. All real markdown links across the archive updated to the new paths. - ✅ Business category restructured per creator, more granular. Split "Bars & Nightclubs" into separate Bars and Nightclubs categories; split "Banks & Finance" into Banks alone; added News Organizations as a category distinct from broader Media Companies; added a new MegaCorporations tier and moved LMT (Maf), LMT (Earth), and DESCO there from Corporations & Conglomerates (now an empty mid-tier category, reserved for large-but-not-mega businesses). ✅ Business definition broadened, per creator: any entity conducting business or organized activity of any scale, for-profit or non-profit (including churches, religions, think tanks), excluding governments/ political bodies and player characters/NPCs themselves. Flagged for a future pass: a broader audit of already-archived content for entities that now qualify under this expanded definition — candidates include Zoota sports teams (Underhive Blazers, Skyguard Titans), secret societies like the "Insiders," and the Janastian Warhawks (mercenary-company-cum-sovereign-entity) — not yet actioned, pending creator confirmation on scope.
- ✅ NEW — Criminal Enterprises and Pirate Groups categories added to Business, per creator, using a dual-listing approach: primary content stays in
/factions, with cross-referenced index entries in the relevant Business category (and a matching note back on the faction page). Criminal Enterprises indexes Kitirim Crime Family, Sunny Mistrals, and Ghourlim Ata-Ushi. Pirate Groups indexes Razor's Reach. This dual-listing pattern is now the model for other faction-organizations that also qualify as businesses under the broadened definition (sports teams, secret societies, mercenary companies, etc.) once that audit pass happens.
- ✅ MAJOR — Two new top-level directories created, plus 4 new Business subcategories, per creator. New TLDs: Starnations (space-faring sovereign entities) and Planetary Governments (planet-bound sovereign entities) — both currently thin, with a full migration pass from existing content flagged for a future session given scope. New Business subcategories: Sports Teams, Secret Societies, Hospitals, Private Military Companies (deliberately not "Mercenary Companies," per creator preference). Two new faction pages created (promoted from passing mentions to full entities, per creator's realization these qualify as secret societies): The Insiders and Fellow Associates — both dual-listed under Business: Secret Societies. Janastian Warhawks is now triple-listed: primary in
/factions, dual-listed in Business: Private Military Companies, and listed as the first entry in the new Starnations TLD.
- ✅ NEW — "MegaBusinesses" renamed to "MegaCorporations," with a formal definition, per creator: a MegaCorporation operates across 5+ solar systems; a Conglomerate is primarily single-planet- based with 5+ subsidiaries, trading across no more than 4 solar systems. An annual revenue minimum for MegaCorporation status will be set later, once more economic material is developed. ✅ New categorization principle: corporations are listed under their primary business activity category, not a generic bucket — e.g., a restaurant conglomerate belongs under Restaurants, with each individual brand also separately indexed, since players can walk into any one directly. Every standalone facility/business a player or NPC can interact with — mom-and-pop, large company, or Conglomerate/MegaCorporation subsidiary — gets indexed under its proper subcategory. "Leur's Restaurants" was given as an illustrative example of this principle, not confirmed in-universe content — no page created for it to avoid inventing details. "Corporations & Conglomerates" is now understood as reserved for true multi-industry parents without one clear primary activity. All references to "MegaBusinesses" updated to "MegaCorporations" throughout the archive.
- Standing instruction: typos and capitalization errors in creator messages will be silently corrected in archive content going forward.
- ✅ RESOLVED — "The" naming convention applied to 5 entities, per creator. Dropped "The" (filenames, titles, and all cross-references fixed archive-wide): Guardians (was "The Guardians"), Overlord (was "The Overlord"), Jonesboro Posse (was "The Jonesboro Posse"), Underhive (was "The Underhive"), Nightshade (was "The Nightshade"), Commerce Center (was "The Commerce Center"). Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus) also corrected from "The Empire" to simply "Empire" everywhere. Kept as-is (likely registered/proper names): The Beetles, The Purple Scarab. Standing rule going forward: don't use "The" as part of an entity's name unless it's a registered part of the legal/formal name.
- ✅ MACOFS and Empire of Man moved exclusively to Starnations, per creator — not dual-listed, fully relocated out of
/factions(unlike the Janastian Warhawks, which remain dual-listed). Files moved tostarnations/macofs.mdandstarnations/empire-of-man.md; all real markdown links across the archive (README.md) updated. This establishes that some starnations may get an exclusive move while others stay dual-listed, decided case by case by the creator.
- ✅ MAJOR — Faction definition and dual-listing rule established, per creator. "A Faction is any entity with an agenda of its own." A Planetary Government may also be a Faction (dual-listed) if it has its own agenda — expected to be common. A Starnation defaults to Starnation-only, not dual-listed as a Faction, unless specifically decided otherwise. Very large-scale entities (MACOFS, Empire of Man) could technically be dual-listed but their size mitigates against it — confirmed staying Starnation-only. Five entities dual-listed into the new Planetary Governments TLD (primary content unchanged): Desert Empire, Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus), Helvatica (Nation), and Peplle (all dual- listed with
/factions), plus Jonesboro (dual-listed with/locations, since it hasn't been established as having its own agenda). Each primary page now carries a banner pointing to its Planetary Governments listing.
- ✅ NEW — Three EOM warlord states built out as Factions, per creator instruction (classified as Factions within the Empire of Man, not Starnations — could be developed into Starnations later, not yet): Drake Federation (George Drake, ✅ name confirmed by creator), Io Sei (Tiko Amata), Huang Li Shao (Xi Xi Han). Only these 3 of the Empire of Man's 13 current warlords are named; the other 10 remain unidentified.
- ✅ MAJOR — Empire of Man's internal structure clarified, per creator. Consists of 13 warlord "Territories." Drake Federation is the largest and most organized, the only one with a defined capital (name unknown) — the only Territory likely to move toward Starnation status soon (dual Faction role), but not yet; events need to play out first. The other 12 Territories (including Io Sei and Huang Li Shao) are amorphous: claimed borders but no defined capital, internally unstable with competing factions. Classification tension noted: the Empire of Man itself has no centralized government or capital — classified as a Starnation due to size/influence/power, though by strict definition it would otherwise be a Faction; remains classified as Starnation for now. Unifying motive confirmed: the 13 warlords are organizing behind a common banner to retaliate against Kila Vas for the IFTR civil war and the humiliating terms of the Treaty of Starbase 17 that precipitated it.
- ✅ NEW — Fourth EOM warlord Territory added, per creator: Ti-Anglin Uvo, led by Simu Tyza — the first confirmed non-human Territory within the Empire of Man. Now 4 of 13 warlord Territories named.
- ✅ NEW — Interam Hotel Group added, per creator: LMT's hotel holding subsidiary, with 3 brands each getting their own entry (players can walk into any one directly): Interam (business travelers), Sherouse (midscale/family), Tarameir (luxury). All 4 listed in Business: Hotels, per the established pattern (holding company + separately-indexed individual brands). Cross-referenced from LMT's Known Holdings.
- ✅ NEW — Leur's Restaurants Corporation added, per creator: LMT's restaurant holding subsidiary, operating multiple dine-in and fast-food brands (most not yet named/recalled). Two brands built out: Leur's Restaurant (upper-middle-class dine-in, via subsidiary "Leur's Restaurant, Inc.") and La Cantina (Mexican food, no historical/gastronomic connection to Maf cuisine, but popular). All 3 listed in Business: Restaurants, cross-referenced from LMT's Known Holdings.
- ✅ NEW — Business: Industrial catch-all category created, per creator, for business types that don't yet warrant their own dedicated subcategory ("one-offs" for now — split into a proper subcategory once enough similar businesses accumulate). First entry: Acies Corporation — an LMT subsidiary founded 1901, one of LMT's oldest, producing glassware/windows/industrial glass, including a modern flagship brand "Syzan Wall" (Decorative and Industrial glass-block modes, the latter used as programmable spacecraft/station bulkheads). Cross- referenced from LMT's Known Holdings.
- ✅ NEW — Business: Military Manufacturers category created, per creator, first entry: Sormpkin MMAC Corporation — one of LMT's largest subsidiaries, builds tanks/armored vehicles, jeep-like vehicles/trucks, uniforms/ personal military gear, towed water tanks, and military compasses. Cross-referenced from LMT's Known Holdings, which now lists 5 confirmed subsidiaries (World Bank, Interam Hotel Group, Leur's Restaurants Corporation, Acies Corporation, Sormpkin MMAC).
- ✅ Bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues confirmed already correctly placed in their Business subcategories from earlier work (cleaned up 2 leftover empty folders in
locations/kila-vas- districts/). ✅ NEW — Bands & Musical Acts category created, dual-listing the 3 existing bands (Max T and the Del Rey Casters, Triple 8 Fate, Nightshade) with/factions, matching the established dual-listing pattern. ✅ Swept the archive for stray "The Empire" capitalizations left over from before the naming convention was applied — fixed 7 files (Perold Jones, developer- guidance sample quests, main README, Planetary Governments roster, Kila Vas Reforms, World War 3 timeline, WW3-era nations reference).
- ✅ RESOLVED — All Rwechyn Oasis/Binghis Street facilities now indexed in Business. The 14 fully-described venues/bands were already correctly placed (bars, restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment, bands). The remaining 9 venues with only brief descriptions (River Divers, Den of Thieves, Tunapin Place, Club Nocturne, Randy's Skittle, BJ's DJ, Lori's, Matt's Hot Dogs, Ice Martin's) have now been added as listicle entries in their appropriate Business category README (Bars, Nightclubs, Restaurants, Entertainment & Recreation), per the "full page if description available, listicle if not" rule. Binghis Street's own page updated to note this cross-indexing.
- ✅ NEW — Ambassador Tosil diplomatic vignette moved into Narratives. Built out as The Discovery of Peplle's Innovations — genuinely substantial content extracted: new characters (Ambassador Ziv Tosil, Lord Filimon, Major Eritin, envoy Habrin Denai), confirms the Empire's dual political seats (Emperor at San/Xanthus, President at Tev), a rich catalog of Peplle's technology (trains, steam/iron ships, submarine prototype, electric lighting, telegraph/telephone, printing press, manufacturies), unconfirmed rumors of "high voltage," a "talking machine," and a metal "bird" (plausibly garbled hints at Jonesboro's real hidden tech), and reinforces the suspicion that Jonesboro is Peplle's technological source. New locations: Tranchon, Balabaly. ⚠️ Flagged: "Ros," mentioned as politically uncertain, may connect to the old unlinked NPC roster entry "Henry Patterson — President — Ros" — not confirmed. Cross-referenced from Peplle, Jonesboro, and Empire's pages. This closes out all Ambassador Tosil-related content from conversation #97.
- ✅ RESOLVED — the four characters from "The Discovery of Peplle's Innovations" now have proper dedicated character pages (they were only mentioned in narrative prose before, not indexed): Ziv Tosil, Lord Filimon, Major Eritin, Habrin Denai. Narrative page updated to link to them properly. Good reminder to double-check new narratives for un-indexed named characters going forward.
- 🚧 FUTURE TASK — retroactive backlog only. A full audit pass across already-processed conversations to identify named characters mentioned in passing that still lack a dedicated character page. Going forward, this backlog stops growing — see item 152 for the new standing rule (every named individual gets a page at time of introduction). This item now covers only pre-152 content still needing catch-up.
- ✅ NEW — 7 Jonesboro-area restaurants added to Business: Restaurants, per creator instruction: Jhay's Way (⚠️ actually located in Kila Vas, not Jonesboro, despite the batch framing), The Smokehouse (✅ founder confirmed as Ron Conzalo — the "Roy" variant was a typo/mistake), Chinggon Bato (✅ confirmed Jonesboro-located, per creator), Lorna's Pub (✅ confirmed Jonesboro-located, per creator), Panabo Pub (explicitly confirmed Jonesboro, 1954, "odd food combination" dishes), Doc Yuger's (explicitly confirmed Jonesboro, 1967, country & western), and McGillicuddy's Bar (explicitly confirmed Jonesboro among several locations). All 6 Jonesboro-intended restaurants (everything but Jhay's Way) are now confirmed Jonesboro-located. Cross-referenced from Jonesboro. This closes out all Jonesboro restaurant content from conversation #97 — only the Casino Strip and the "4 Mile" remain.
- 🚧 DEVELOPMENT ARC — Jonesboro's dual governing structures, to be resolved later. Per creator (corrected after initial confusion): Jonesboro itself has two distinct, separate governing entities occupying the same location with the same geographical boundaries — the "City-State" of Jonesboro (President-Congress, republic-style) and the "City" of Jonesboro (Mayor-City Council). These are genuinely distinct, not a simple state-vs-municipal hierarchy. Separately, Kila Vas's "City-State" also has a President-Congress structure (unrelated fact, not part of the same overlapping-entities framing). Flagged as an intentionally unresolved development arc. No "Things to Do" list needed separate from this Open Questions log.
- ✅ NEW — Business: Adult Entertainment category created, per creator, with a distinct listing pattern from other Business categories: listicle-only entries here, full description lives in the venue's actual primary subcategory (Bars, Restaurants, etc.), which must include "Adult Entertainment" in its Type identifier. Default assumption for "4 Mile" district venues: Adult Entertainment unless the name or description says otherwise. Not yet populated — pending processing of the "4 Mile" content itself.
- ✅ The "4 Mile" district processed. Built out: The Four Mile (district page) plus 6 venues — all explicit exceptions to the district's Adult Entertainment character, per the source: Black Swan Nightclub and Gentlemen's Choice (Nightclubs), Tautamarje (Restaurants), Roger's Rock House (Entertainment & Recreation), Sweetwater Canteen and Art Sledge's Motor Club (Bars). ⚠️ No specific Adult Entertainment venues were individually named in the source — the district's dominant character is established, but the Adult Entertainment category listicle remains empty pending future material. ⚠️ Correction logged: initially assumed "Casino Strip" and the "4 Mile" might be the same topic — verified against the source and confirmed they are distinct; Casino Strip (a 40-mile desert district ~30 miles west of Kila Vas International Airport, including the Donkey D'Rider Casino) remains unprocessed.
- ⚠️⚠️ MAJOR — Full systematic scan of conversation #97 (all 632 messages) revealed substantially more unprocessed content than spot-checking had found. Caught and fixed a real error along the way: Sam I-Yipro was incorrectly marked deceased on Sam's Sea Shack — the source actually corrects this to alive/76, now fixed. Discovered a long list of substantial unprocessed topics — see the raw source tracker for the full list — including centuries of Empire history (founded 756 BC), two more Maf wars ("World War 1" and "World War 2," distinct from the documented WW3), a major unresolved mystery (the Empire's "Lost Fleet," possibly connected to a previously- unknown elf species near Tranchon), and much more local color. Processing resumes smallest-to-largest through this list, per creator's standing preference. First processed: The Jonesboro Cup (yacht race, est. 1899).
- ✅ NEW — "Maf Flora and Fauna" top-level category created, per creator. First entry: Chilihof — a domesticated desert canine species (resembling a large hyena) used as a pack/messenger animal, prized for endurance (30 mph for several-day stretches). Found across the Republics of Waon, eastern Dielvan Wac, western Vrobidy foothills, and 3 newly-named regions (Morpasya, Anais, Nasobeem) not otherwise documented yet.
- ✅ Salazar's Juice Bar (At the End of the Universe) processed. Founded by Sal Izzar as a downtown Kila Vas beach shack, now a large entertainment complex on the South Concourse (open-air market, theme park, 4 bars, 2 restaurants, mini-golf). Built out: Salazar's, Salazar's Little Italy, Salazar's Family. ✅ All 20 Secret Menu items reviewed and confirmed canon by the creator: 7 cocktails (The Event Horizon, The Banana Rebellion, The Coco-nope, The Quantum Berry Fizz, The Big Blue, The Scorched Guava Protocol, The Fuzzy Anomaly) on Salazar's main page; 7 Little Italy dishes plus 6 "Dolce Catacombs" desserts (including the Seven Deadly Sweets flight) on Salazar's Little Italy's page.
- ✅ The Pink Gazelle processed. A civilian-owned bar/restaurant in the Vrobidy Mountain foothills SW of Kila Vas, founded 1974 by Dana Versalis (wife Lydia), a favorite refuge for troops during World War 3. 5 named performing bands/acts. See The Pink Gazelle. "The Fox Den" (mentioned only as a comparison point) remains unidentified.
- ✅ Catch-up character indexing pass completed for Salazar's and The Pink Gazelle. Created dedicated character pages for 8 previously un-indexed named individuals: Sal Izzar, Dana Versalis, Lydia Versalis, Shawn Fountain, Glenda Kilroy, Domenick Pendgrass, Peter Novonich, and "Marvelous" Sherrie Maisel. Their business pages now link to these instead of just bolding names in-line.
- ✅ NEW STANDING RULE, per creator: going forward, every named individual encountered during processing gets a dedicated character page at the time they're introduced, rather than being described only in-line within a business/faction/location page. This supersedes the earlier inconsistent practice (compare: Jeremy Ladd got a dedicated page/narrative, but Sam I-Yipro and Lorna Denzel did not) and replaces the older "future full audit pass" item (142) with an immediate, ongoing practice — no backlog should accumulate from this point forward.
- ✅ Cruze processed. An LMT-built, young-adult-focused (20–40) luxury hotel in Jahfaz, famously constructed in ~40 days using modular/off-the-shelf components as a public "we do impossible all day long" gamble timed to a Nightshade concert at the Jahfaz Concert Field. See Cruze. Also confirmed a real Interam property location in Jahfaz, and added a brief LMT-infrastructure cross-reference to Jahfaz's page — Jahfaz's fuller development (Concert Field, Press Council, College, WIU campus) remains a separate, larger unprocessed topic.
- ✅ MAJOR — Free Zone system refined, and Jahfaz's status corrected, per creator. The 17 original Free Zones were established under the Police and Crime Act of 1999, enacted alongside the New World Maf Government's inauguration on January 1, 2000. Kila Vas later established a separate, distinct category: "Free Trade Zones" — taxes (not law/jurisdiction) are suspended within them, and they fall under Kila Vas Police/ Peacekeeper Police security jurisdiction (the opposite of standard Free Zones, which sit entirely outside it). By ~2011 the distinction between the two was blurring. ✅ Jahfaz's status corrected: it is NOT one of the original 17 Free Zones — it was established as the 21st Free Zone in 2016 (tentative, per creator) and is also a Free Trade Zone. Both Kila Vas Reforms of 1999-2000 and Jahfaz updated accordingly.
- ✅ Batch of Binghis Street/related venues processed (partial — more remain): The Surf Bum (surf music venue), Melody's Mic Lounge and Skip's Tiki Bar (karaoke bars), plus (same batch, different location) Casablanca Cabaret on StarPort One and its performer Ginny Lassar (new character page, per the standing rule). Still remaining: Ms. Trouble and Chaos Disorder (band), Dog and Hammer, The Echo Chamber.
- ✅ RESOLVED — StarPort One confirmed as a space station in orbit around Maf, per creator. New location page created, then relocated into a new Space Stations subcategory (per creator) at StarPort One, with a category index at Space Stations. All cross-references (Casablanca Cabaret, Ginny Lassar, README) updated to the new path.
- ✅ COMPLETE — all remaining Binghis Street content processed. Final batch: Chaos Disorder (band, led by Tammy Clement ("Ms. Trouble") — new character page per the standing rule, with a genuinely difficult backstory involving underage exploitation, handled factually), Dog and Hammer (eccentric bar, owner Roy Goff, new character page), and 5 more music venues generated in one batch: The Echo Chamber, Nova Noise Nexus, The Velvet Barricade, Star & String Loft, Solar Flare Courtyard. This closes out the entire Binghis Street/Rwechyn Oasis local-color thread from conversation #97.
- ✅ Isle of Trade's historical name and discovery story added. Locally known as "Izsta Mu." An Empire flotilla discovered it already thriving as a major trade hub around 1765, traveling east along the Great River into the inland sea — richly described (packed ports, dozens of nations' ships, Kaolsan tribe houseboats). The Empire subsequently sent its own trade fleets and representatives to join. See Isle of Trade.
- ✅ NEW — Nikians, Nik, Temczech Marshals, Tranchon, and Mediqjor added, per creator. "Izsta Mu" (Isle of Trade's historical name) is a Nikian-language name — Nikians are a distinct ethnic group with their own language, often loosely conflated with the Kaolsan but genuinely separate. Their homeland, Nik, sits on the north bank of the Great River with two capitals (ancient desert capital Ahtamen, and the more recent Phangai nearer the river). Temczech Marshals borders Nik to the west. Both are Planetary Governments, dual-listed with Factions. Also added as Planetary Government placeholders (full description pending, per creator): Tranchon and Mediqjor.
- ✅ Ros and Balabaly processed, along with a new character. Ros — militant empire NW of Peplle; last war ~30 years prior; new Chancellor assassinated by his own party shortly after taking power; tied to the eventual outbreak of Maf's "World War 1" (~40 years out from this scene). Balabaly — a fertile, unclaimed territory near Peplle that no one settles, for unexplained reasons; will be claimed by the Empire at the end of Maf's "World War 2." New character: Garron Vey (trader, from a region called "Thile," not yet otherwise documented). ⚠️ This whole narrative thread (Filimon/Vey) showed notable AI confusion during the original conversation, per the creator — flagged for extra caution.
- ✅ NEW — Thile added, resolving the "Anais" mystery. Per creator: Thile is a large, >90% mountainous nation south of Peplle — the only nation with ports on both the eastern ocean and the Great River, connected by railroads through the mountains. ✅ Its ancient/traditional name, "Anais," resolves the previously-unidentified region name referenced in the Chilihof's range. Renamed "Thile" one generation ago by conqueror Ziit Amun Thile (new character page); his son now rules, name pending future material. Cross- referenced from Garron Vey (Thile is his home nation) and Balabaly.
- ✅ The Calendar Accord of 1888 processed. A 3-week debate in the Isle of Trade's Great Merchant Hall led to continent-wide adoption of the Whyncloss calendar (12 months, 7-day weeks, 2 lunar cycles — already used by Peplle). Notably, three independent reckonings all converged on the year 1888: the Empire's "Sandbar Treaty," Whyncloss College's founding, and the Kaolsan "capture of Kila Vas." ⚠️ New historical layer surfaced: this last item suggests a native/Kaolsan conquest history for the Kila Vas site predating the Original Colonists' 1893 arrival — flagged on Kila Vas's own page, full detail at The Calendar Accord of 1888.
- ✅ MAJOR — Kila Vas's pre-Colonial Kaolsan history resolved, per creator. Kila Vas has always been a Kaolsan settlement, founded somewhere between 1300 BC and 1100 BC (exact date pending future material). It was later conquered by Ejon Krino (new character page) — this conquest date, though scholars believe it's off by weeks or months from the true date, has been officially fixed as the modern calendar's epoch: January 1, Year 1. ✅ This resolves part of an old open question on Dating Systems: a second of the three factors that determined Maf's calendar epoch is now confirmed (the first being Whyncloss International University's founding). Updated on Kila Vas, The Calendar Accord of 1888, and Dating Systems.
- ✅ NEW — The "Jonesboro Amendment" to the Calendar Accord, per creator. A later amendment, proposed by Jonesboro, established "BC"/"AD" suffixes (officially "Before the Calendar Accord" / "After Dating") and January–December month names as supposedly neutral conventions. ✅ In truth, both were a deliberate trick by the Jonesboroians to secretly preserve real Earth calendar terminology — at a time when no one else on Maf knew the Original Colonists' true origin. Also resolved: the Calendar Accord's choice of 12 months ties to 12 highly prominent, visible moons observable from Maf's surface (of its 22 total confirmed moons). Updated on The Calendar Accord of 1888 and Jonesboro.
- ✅ NEW — LMT/Jones family's unofficial political influence in Jonesboro clarified, per creator. LMT "officially" has no influence over either of Jonesboro's two governing levels (City-State or City) — but both LMT and the extended Jones family are extraordinarily influential in practice, regularly swaying Jonesboro politicians, diplomats, and city officials through lobbying, despite no official/direct role in state or city affairs. Updated on Jonesboro.
- ✅ Generated corporate-name lists processed. 17 Casino Management Companies and 15 Hotel Management Services added as listicles within the existing Casinos and Hotels categories. Two new Business subcategories created: Aerospace Design & Engineering (28 firms — orbital station + ground-based spaceport designers) and Social Media Platforms (15 platforms, including a fun in-world coincidence: one is literally named "EchoChamber," unrelated to the actual Echo Chamber music venue).
- ✅ MAJOR — The First Years Chronicle of the Landings processed. Built out as a full narrative: the airlock/submarine escape from the submerged Ark Royal ("The stars are bright tonight"), the ship's gold reserves and hidden advanced technology, and a Five-Year Chronicle (1893–1898) covering "The First Killing" (a farmer killed resisting Colonist land encroachment — a genuinely dark founding moment), the Jones family's gold-based political consolidation, an internal "Quietists vs. Builders" tension, and the Colonists' preserved Earth holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, July 4th) later adopted by locals. ⚠️ New thread, not yet resolved: a large group of Native American colonists broke away to found their own independent nation(s) in the 1920s — not yet named or detailed. See The First Years Chronicle of the Landings, cross-referenced from Ark Royal and Jonesboro.
- ✅ MAJOR — The Empire's Lost Fleet processed in full, including the political crisis that followed. Built out: The Empire's Lost Fleet (a genuinely atmospheric, deliberately unresolved mystery — an 11-ship expedition vanishes upriver past the Isle of Trade), Elves (a new species — stoic, unreadable, reputed to have magic, almost never interacting with humans), and investigators Alexander Pickett and Samuel Hayes. The mystery escalates into a full Parliamentary crisis — First Admiral Zhol Dilamn pushes for military force against the elves; a chilling parallel emerges (a Ros expedition into elven territory vanished the same way, officially denied by Ros); the Empire's young Emperor (appointed at 44, the youngest ever) ultimately rules that elven territory will remain permanently inviolate, against significant political pressure. Cross-referenced from Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus).
- ✅ MAJOR — The Empire's deep founding history processed, resolving the "Sandbar Treaty" mystery. Built out: The Empire of Xanydeo and Xanthus: Founding, Fracture, and Reunion — founded 756 BC as two warring kingdoms under brothers Xanydeo and Xanthus; unified via the Treaty of the Sandbar (✅ this is the "Sandbar Treaty" from the Calendar Accord of 1888, fixed at Jan 1, Year 1, alongside Ejon Krino's Kila Vas conquest and Whyncloss College's founding); the centuries-long Fracturing Period (1480-1715, four distinct causes); the Great Treaty of 1715's practical failure (a 2-century capital-location debate resolved catastrophically in 1920; a toothless Presidency; bureaucratic paralysis; commercial chaos); and the Ministry of Assigns' internal politics (tied directly into The Discovery of Peplle's Innovations). ⚠️ The Masinan Invasion (1720-1735), which apparently forced genuine unity, was cut off in the source material — flagged as not yet detailed. Cross-referenced from Empire (Xanydeo and Xanthus). Only Jahfaz's fuller development and the separate Casino Strip remain unprocessed from conversation #97.
- ✅ Casino Strip processed. A 40x12-mile stretch of desert beyond Kila Vas International Airport, holding the largest concentration of casinos on the planet. Several named casinos listed (Khayzinu Khayzinu, Snow Palace, Floating Islands, Desert Dunes, and more). Confirmed 1990s Kila Vas's broad legality of recreational drugs and licensed adult entertainment. Built out the charming legend of Donkey D'Rider (a beloved, harmlessly dishonest 1940s Jonesboro prospector) and his namesake casino, plus Madame Luigi's Boarding House and its owner Madame Luigi. See Casino Strip. This closes out all of conversation #97 except Jahfaz's fuller development, which remains the sole unprocessed item.
- ✅ RESOLVED — 8 Casino Strip casinos were missing from the Casinos category index. Only Donkey D'Rider's Casino had a full entry; the other 8 (Khayzinu Khayzinu, Kila Vas Kings Casino, Helio Casino, Razhnu Casino, Snow Palace Casino, Floating Islands Casino, Desert Dunes Casino, Casino De La Elvis) were only mentioned on Casino Strip's own page, not indexed in Business: Casinos. Added as a listicle entry there now, per the standing rule.
- ✅ NEW — Two more LMT subsidiaries added, per creator, plus a new game-mechanic terminology rule. Jameson Corporation — operates exclusively in space (2020), providing maintenance/repair/retrofit services plus space drones and robots. New Business subcategory created: Space Maintenance & Robotics. Danae Aerospace Corporation — a conglomerate with 5 subsidiaries, each filed under its own primary-activity category: Danae Spacecraft (military spacecraft, largest subsidiary), Danae Airlines International and Danae Spacelines (new category: Airlines & Space Transit), Danae Atomic Engines and Danae Avionics (new category: Aerospace Components & Systems). ✅ New terminology rule: military vessels are "starships" (armed and/or armored/shielded for combat, or exploration-focused under Starfleet); civilian vessels are always "spacecraft" regardless of armament. See Starship vs. Spacecraft — Classification Terminology. All cross-referenced from LMT's Known Holdings.
- ✅ REFINED — Starship vs. Spacecraft definition updated, per creator. A "starship" is now defined as any spacecraft devoted exclusively to military operations, which must be shielded or armed (preferably both) — a military-use vessel that is neither is still a "spacecraft." ✅ Confirmed: the Starfleet-exploration exception still stands alongside this refined definition — spacecraft used solely for exploration are also "starships" if they operate under Starfleet's jurisdiction (in practice, likely meaning Starfleet-registered vessels with an exploration focus), regardless of shielding or armament. Updated on Starship vs. Spacecraft — Classification Terminology and Danae Spacecraft.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR MILESTONE — Jahfaz's fuller development processed, completing all of conversation #97. Built out: the full 2016-2020 growth history (founding, viral growth, the "corporate turning point" schism), key landmarks (Indiro Park, Black Spire, Convention Center), Jahfaz College (20,000 students), Whyncloss International University and its new Jahfaz Institute of Technology, Dr. Alistair Venn (WIU President), Jahfaz Concert Field (with its 3-concert 2020 opening week, including Nightshade's massive headline show), and the Mercury Twist/WarMachine casinos. ⚠️ Two open threads remain: the radical leadership's resignation during the "corporate turning point" is only briefly mentioned, and the Concert Field's opening date has a July 21 vs. July 22 discrepancy in the source. This completes systematic processing of every identified thread in conversation #97 ("Kila Vas Financial Growth") — all 632 messages.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Two Jahfaz news organizations were missing from the archive. Jahfaz Press Office (official city announcements) and Jahfaz Streets and Nightlife (student-run publication) were mentioned in the Jahfaz material but never given Business category entries — both now created and cross-linked from Jahfaz's own page. Also flagged for awareness (not yet resolved): Jahfaz's founding "triangle" institutions — a Military Academy, an Administration Building, and a Graduate School of Advanced Political Studies — remain only brief mentions on Jahfaz's own page, with no dedicated pages, given how minimal their described detail is.
- ✅ NEW — Military Academies and Colleges subcategories created under Locations, per creator. Jahfaz Military Academy (legal name confirmed) is the first entry in the new Military Academies category. Jahfaz Administration Building (legal name confirmed) — houses all of Jahfaz's governmental offices, including several civilian contractors to the Jahfaz government — created as a standalone Locations entry (a government building, not a Business, per the archive's government-exclusion rule). Jahfaz Graduate School of Advanced Political Studies (legal name confirmed) is now in a new Colleges category, alongside relocated existing entries: Jahfaz College, Whyncloss International University, and the Jahfaz Institute of Technology (all moved from a flat
/locations/listing into/locations/colleges/, with all cross-references fixed). Also re-verified "The Nightshade" naming — found no live remaining errors after a full archive search; only a historical log entry correctly describing the past correction remains.
- ✅ RESOLVED — "Colleges" renamed to "Colleges and Universities," per creator, anticipating significant future scale (likely 100+ entries). Folder and all cross-references updated: Colleges and Universities now houses Jahfaz College, Whyncloss International University, Jahfaz Institute of Technology, and Jahfaz Graduate School of Advanced Political Studies. Existing Banks and Casinos Business subcategories confirmed already appropriately separated given similar anticipated scale (~200+ entries each) — no changes needed there.
- ✅✅ NEW CONVERSATION DISCOVERED AND FULLY PROCESSED — Conversation #98 ("Drone Warfare Innovations"). This had been missed entirely in the original conversation survey since its title didn't obviously signal Maf content. Built out: Sable Fangs (a bandit coalition that seized Kila Vas post-WW3), Imperial Task Force (the Empire's post-WW3 stabilization force, alongside the Janastian Warhawks), Great Arin Desert (Kila Vas sits on its edge), and two connected narrative pieces: The Battle of Kila Vas (1992) (Colonel Jonas's first large-scale test of his drone-swarm "swarming doctrine") and "Toward a Swarming Doctrine" (1994, one of Jonas's 40+ published books). Updated Perold Jonas's own timeline with both 1992/1994 entries. ⚠️ Flagged: the battle's outcome was cut off in the source, and there's an unresolved ambiguity over whether the battle is real in-universe history or merely a hypothetical illustration within Jonas's own book. Also verified conversation #99 ("Electron Motion and Gravity") is genuinely unrelated to Maf (real-world physics/conspiracy discussion). All Maf-related conversations in conversations-000.json are now confirmed fully processed.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Two corrections to conversation #98's content, per creator. (1) The Battle of Kila Vas is confirmed hypothetical — an illustrative case study within Perold Jonas's book, not real in-universe history. Narrative page renamed to The Battle of Kila Vas (Hypothetical Case Study) and clearly labeled as such; removed the "1992 Colonel" entry from Perold Jones's real timeline, since it never actually happened to him. (2) "Imperial Task Force" was a misleading name — the actual unit is the Empire's 2nd Brigade, tasked with serving as the Empire's "task force" for quelling disturbances solo or alongside the Janastian Warhawks. Faction page renamed accordingly, with "Imperial Task Force" noted as an informal (and misleading) nickname. All cross-references fixed across the archive.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — Full NPC Roster split into individual character pages, per creator's request to audit the archive for missing entries. Discovered that the original 20-name "NPCs Sample" roster (Medium article) had never been split into individual pages — despite a consolidated "NPC Full Profiles" page already having rich bios (ages, motivations, backgrounds) for nearly all of them from the "NPC Flaws RPG" ChatGPT conversation. Built proper individual pages for all 21 characters: Murray the Fence, Peter Dell, Captain Roger McNeish, General Monqatue, Augment Haven, Bel Szynod, Archmage Zitian Osier, Sheilene Murphy, Danny DeMarkos, Lulu "The Banana" Harris, Brian Farthing, Mindy Desplaines, Jimmy "The Parson" Parsons, Barbara Accord, Delaney Metcalfe, Henry Patterson ("President Patterson"), Isabella "Izzy" Ramirez, Drusilla Blackthorn, Captain Marcus Stormbringer, Victor "Vic" Hawthorne (bonus, not in original roster), and Elara Nightshade (stub — no profile was ever given for her). NPC Full Profiles and NPC Roster (Sample) both rewritten as proper indexes linking to the new individual pages. ✅ New confirmed fact: Jonesboro is bordered by ocean N/E and Peplle W/S (from Bel Szynod's profile). ⚠️ New entities flagged but not yet built out: the Nwelmos Grand Magocracy (11-planet starnation), the Petrobas and Metcalfe crime families, and the Stormbringer Legion. Also found and fixed a separate gap: 4 unindexed space station names (MafPort One, Helvatica SkyHarbor, Galactic Commerce Exchange, Kila Vas InterStellar Port) added to Space Stations as a listicle. This was a first substantial pass on the creator's broader "review all material" request — a fully exhaustive audit across all 20+ source conversations remains a larger, multi-session undertaking.
- ✅ RESOLVED — Two corrections, per creator. (1) "MACOS Treaty" was a typo for "MACOFS Treaty" — fixed everywhere it appeared, including one additional instance caught on The 4 States Region (Kila Vas, MACOFS, Helvatica, and this open- questions log itself). (2) "Longwoods" is one word, not "Long Woods" — fixed on The 4 States Region page and the main README. ✅ Confirmed: Longwoods is a region of Dagorb (matching existing placement). ⚠️ Flagged as likely inaccurate: the "15-room mansion in Longwoods" detail from the Character Roles source (Sports Team Owner role) — the creator doesn't recall this mansion, and the source's claim that Longwoods is in "Kila Vas" conflicts with its confirmed Dagorb location. Noted in the raw-sources tracker as probable AI invention. ✅ Also confirmed and refined: Dagorb, Tisivet, Teful, and Haniah's 2006 plebiscite vote to join Kila Vas became effective January 1, 2007 — the same day MACOFS was formally established — not immediately upon the November 2006 vote itself.
- ✅ Systematic gap-hunting review, in progress. Spot-checked several previously-unaudited raw-source files for unindexed NPCs/places/businesses. Confirmed already complete: Character Roles, MACOFS Treaty signatories/starnations, Aa Konta prophecies, The Hauler's Gambit (Cort/Marla Bannigan, General Kradok all already exist). Found and fixed: the 2nd Viachon War Prelude's Shambala crew and command-center officers had no individual character pages despite the ship itself having one — built out all 8: James "T-Bone" Harris, John Le'Roy, Marsha Stewart, Tingala Mue, Theodore "Ted" Harris, Douglas "Failsafe" Marshall, Captain Lefbrev, and Admiral Kenneworth — all cross-linked from Shambala. ⚠️ Found but not yet fixed: the First Viachon War short story has 5 named characters (Dr. Roland Hardaway, Captain An'Kasal, Captain Peter Smith, Lt. Patrina Harris, Lt. Commander Sa Targ) with no character pages — flagged for the next pass. ~20 remaining raw-source files have not yet been checked in this review pass (this is an ongoing, multi-session undertaking, not yet complete).
- ✅ NEW — 7 grandfathered casinos in old downtown Kila Vas, per creator. All Kila Vas casinos are otherwise required to operate in Casino Strip or the still-upcoming Casino Beach area, but these 7 predate that law: Igbe Tam Gaming Club (founder Madame Igbe Tam) and Temple of Chilo have never been renamed; the other 5 have changed hands — Grand View Hotel (fka Saderer Ru), Kipsney Hotel & Casino (fka Lis'An-Ri), Mellson Hotel and Casino (fka Pageant Hotel and Casino), Seaport (fka Selmik Karn), all gutted and remodeled, and The Tally Ho Casino (fka Tulura Ghaiz), re-themed rather than remodeled.
- ✅ NEW — Buyer/purchase details for the 5 renamed grandfathered casinos, per creator. Grand View Hotel (fka Saderer Ru) — purchased 1991 by Sykon Siddhartha, a Jonesboro migrant of Indian descent whose family still runs it. Kipsney Hotel & Casino (fka Lis'An-Ri) — purchased 1988 by Rayne Kipsney. Mellson Hotel and Casino (fka Pageant Hotel and Casino) — purchased 1954 by former Jonesboro actor George "Famous George" Mellson. Seaport (fka Selmik Karn) — purchased 1986 by Dale and Pam Bishop. The Tally Ho Casino (fka Tulura Ghaiz) — purchased 1947 by Charles Farnsworth III, a member of Perold Jones's 1932-1937 Continental Expedition — a nice direct tie to The Jonesboro Posse. All 5 new character pages cross-linked from their respective casinos.
- ✅✅ MAJOR — All 17 original Free Zones of Kila Vas built out with named leaders, per creator. Each Free Zone is now individually documented under a new Free Zones category, cross-linked from Kila Vas Reforms of 1999-2000. 16 character pages created (15 solo leaders plus one shared page for the Dakkari Twins) and one faction page (the Phrat Collective, a 12-member rotating council governing Free Zone #10 — the only zone without a single boss). Full roster: Aldrek Hermano "The Emperor" (#1), Jubek Jrang "The Masher" (#2, waterfront), Koulan Ke Bano "The Zoo Keeper" (#3), Verman Hohim-biak "Dukie" (#4), Ihiran Omalstat "Kingfisher" (#5), Neptal Fiumin (#6), Gkrengo Kal (#7), Zhara Velan "The Widow" (#8), Torgan Vey "The Smiler" (#9), the Phrat Collective (#10), Meysha Kalvik "Mother Meysha" (#11), Ruun Jekk "The Butcher" (#12), Chask Vhorr "The Spider" (#13), the Dakkari Twins "Two-Faced Gods" (#14), Yonrel Dass "Doctor Death" (#15), Karesh Om-Tal "The Jackal" (#16, desert highway border), and Elnira Vos "The Diamond" (#17). All ages given as of 2004.
- ✅ Police and Crime Act of 1999 given its own dedicated page, per creator request. Extracted from Kila Vas Reforms of 1999-2000 (which now carries just a summary + link) into Police and Crime Act of 1999 — covering the Peacekeepers, time viewers, teleportation- based police response, and the 17 Free Zones. All cross-references fixed, including all 17 individual Free Zone location pages.
- ✅✅ NEW — Ships and Planets categories established, per creator, to house comprehensive future detail on each ship class and planet. Ships indexes all 7 existing ship pages. Planets is a placeholder pointing to the existing developer-guidance sample/template planets (Zephyrion I, Vega Prime I, Pulsarion I, and ~46 generic samples) pending full individual entries in future sessions. ✅ Also fixed: 3 MACOFS founding-committee members who were named but had no character pages — Ravel Magrep (co-authored Helvatica's Constitution and the Police and Crime Act of 1999, alongside Perold Jonas), Zarkof Androve, and Harold Bronson (Constitutional Conference chairman), all cross-linked from MACOFS. Also built Zambetq (site of Jonas's July 1991 space assault) and flagged Hotel Rasmosen (photo-caption-only mention). ⚠️ Per creator: Haunted Ridge Road (a story, not a narrative) should NOT be indexed — stories are fictional accounts about the game, not necessarily part of the game universe itself unless otherwise noted. This distinguishes it from the Viachon War stories, which are explicitly in-universe canon history.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — "Playable MMORPG from Concept" (conversation #30) processed, per creator. Built: Space Structures (Slingshots, Stargates, and Oyster Shells — three distinct ancient unknown-race artifact types); flagged The Enigmatic Odyssey of the Slingshot as a short story, not confirmed canon (per the creator's story-vs-narrative distinction — its named characters/ship are illustrative fiction unless later confirmed); The Foundational Essays (three Empire figures — Admiral Amara SanTay, Lord Elian Nagomura, General Sedguay Manassa — accurately predicted WW3's postwar chaos in three papers, "Destiny Undone," "The Real War," and "Chaos to Chaos"); a new LMT subsidiary, Naensai ElectroDynamics Corporation (builds the Peacekeeper androids); and a new starnation, Eastern Empire (a spiritual society, MACOFS-recognized, whose capital Nod and space station Lumina Ascend were both completed in 2020). ✅ Confirmed the now-defunct 3-chapter structure ("Maf: Starfleet Battles"/"Empires"/"StarQuest") was already correctly flagged as superseded in Maf — Present Day (2020) & Game Chapter Structure from an earlier session — no further correction needed there.
- ✅ "Corporate Index Sample" processed. This Medium article confirmed our existing Business category structure closely matches the creator's own listed categories, and surfaced 13 genuinely missing ones — all now created as placeholder subcategories, ready for future business entries: Advertising Agencies, Art Galleries, Construction Companies, Consulting Services, Cruise Lines, Engineering Companies (general, distinct from Aerospace Design & Engineering), Information Services, Insurance Companies, Malls, Marketing Services, Museums, Public Relations Firms, and Publishing Companies. All other listed categories (Accounting Firms, Airlines, Banks, Casinos, Colleges and Universities, Hospitals, Hotels, Military Academies, News Organizations/Newspapers, Private Military Companies, Propulsion Systems, Space Services and Equipment, Starship Builders, Transportation Companies) were already properly represented in the archive under matching or closely equivalent names.
- ✅ "Planetary Governments Sample" reviewed — already fully processed in an earlier session, with the complete 42-entry roster and cross-references intact. Found and fixed one gap: 5 entries (Eastern Empire, Mediqjor, Nik, Temczech Marshals, Zambetq) had since gained their own full pages elsewhere in this extended session but weren't yet linked back from this roster — now cross-linked. No other new content in this source; it's purely a name+capital sample list, not a source of additional business/NPC detail.
- ✅✅ "Original Colonists" Parts One, Two, and Three reviewed — largely already processed in earlier sessions. Part One (the launch crisis: Vee, the Philadelphia, Captain McHenery, exact figures) was already fully documented. Part Two revealed 7 named Ark Royal crew members who lacked standalone character pages despite being mentioned by name on Ark Royal's own page: Captain Patrick McHenery, Dr. Roberta Huntington, Commander Thomas Bretson, Lt. Commander Rebecca Carmichael, Commander Naerus, Lt. Commander Thui Ng, and Lt. Thomas "Tomtom" Davis — all now built and cross-linked from Ark Royal's page. Part Three was also already processed (Jonesboro's founding, LMT's 1898 incorporation, Perold Jones's expedition to Janast all documented) — added one missing detail: the exact crash casualty figures (3,051 killed, 17,236 injured) and evacuation logistics (313 submersibles, 8,380 total trips) to Original Colonists Part Three. This completes the full "review all Maf conversations" pass the creator requested — every specified raw-source file has now been checked.
- ✅✅ MAJOR — Maf's native height figures revised, and 3 sapient races added/updated, per creator. Superseded the earlier "giants, 6-7 ft average, up to 8'4"" figure (fixed across Maf (Planet), Peplle, Gherallis-Kaolsani, Original Colonists Part Three, Ark Royal, and Perold Jones's own page) with new figures: men 5.9-7+ ft, women 5.6-6.7 ft. New overview page: Maf's Native Races. Built out: Forest Giants (primitive, Neanderthal-like, central continent forests, 7-8+ ft males/6.5-7.5 ft females, avoid all contact) and Dwarves (Great River headwaters' high mountains, 4-5 ft males/3.3-4.5 ft females, master tunnelers with 5-10 story buildings inside excavated mountain halls, "guardians" of the river's birthplace, trade only with the elves). Updated Elves with height figures (5.5-6.5 ft males/4.8-5.5 ft females) and their placement as Elven Kingdoms south of the Dwarves, protectors of forests and nature.
- ✅ NEW — Centaurs, a 4th sapient race, added, per creator. Formerly dominant across the northern continent, depleted by centuries of war with humans; ~90% now live on two islands to the northeast (nearly no humans there); a large population also lives in Patqun (new settlement), plus scattered communities of 5 to 1,000+ across the northern continent. Height: men 5.5-6.9 ft, women 4.8-6 ft. Distinctive appearance: wool-like hair on the horse-half, thick human hair on the human half (except hands/face), tunics worn over the torso. Not primitive — no wars with humans for 200+ years, and full mutual integration today. See Centaurs, updated Maf's Native Races.
- ✅ Started processing conversations-003.json (smaller file, 16 conversations, prioritized over the two larger remaining JSON files). Confirmed genuinely Maf-related: #1 (YUSD/Republic of Maf — scope-limited per creator, see below), #2 (MMORPG: Space Battles, 773 msgs — largest, not yet processed), #4 (Maf: Starfleet Earning — pure marketing copy, no new content), #7 (Sci-Fi Metropolis Description Features — city template + 6 example cities, added to Sci-Fi City Description Template), #13 (Generate Scifi Star Planets — full 35-item Unique Attributes table recovered, resolving a prior partial list; added to Planet Generation System). Excluded as unrelated: #9 (generic JavaScript calculator, no Maf reference). ⚠️ #1 specifically: per creator, only the title "Republic of Maf" is confirmed canon — the conversation's other content (real-world crypto investment scheme discussion) is explicitly disregarded as neither game content, developer info, nor real-world material worth preserving. Remaining to process: conversation #2 (773 messages, largest single conversation processed to date in this whole project) and a final check of the other "clearly unrelated" titles (Quantum Engineering, Copywriting, Family Budgeting, Schrödinger's Cat, Small Biz Challenges, AI Learning Outline, Presidential Candidate Website, Learn Bisaya, Keyword Strategy, Real Estate Airbnb) to confirm none have hidden Maf content, per the #98 lesson from file 000.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — 20 of MACOFS's 21 pre-existing founding starnations fully built out, using the creator's own uploaded population-figure spreadsheet as the authoritative correction source over the original (badly erroneous) ChatGPT conversation. Population/planet-count corrections ranged from modest to enormous — Talul Confederation alone was off by ~10x on planets (10 vs. actual 100) and ~80,000x on population (15 billion vs. actual 1.22 trillion). Built: Abrah Federation (129 planets, 1.24 trillion; capital "Stansia Retised" confirmed over a conflicting in-chat "Cosmara"), Amiarol Confederation (32 planets, 278.2 billion), Anaxallar Space Ring (a space habitat with 0 planets — full rich description supplied directly by the creator via uploaded document), Androxks Domains, Asdor Confederacy, Dlunkgais Monarchial Realm, Gudin Union, Irilax Confederation, Jahulsban Union, Kadisal Cooperative States, L'Sel Commonwealth, Nenmek Cooperative, Ohirat Democratic Union, Pabivof Kingdom, Shiras Interstellar Republic, Shlotroq United Federation, Skvedi Star Republic, Talul Confederation, Royal Courts of Tasim, and Vidersai Communal Alliance. ✅ Corrected an archive error, then refined it further per creator: MACOFS's Member States roster had previously (incorrectly) included Wethrosn and Zein-imar among the 21 original 2007 founding members. Both are confirmed to be current MACOFS members who joined later — they were independent starnations at the time of MACOFS's 2007 founding, but have since joined as members. Both pages updated to reflect this (not "independent," but "joined after founding"). ✅ Also confirmed Kila Vas's own population: 3.3 trillion. ✅ Saib Federation resolved — the creator provided the authoritative description directly, confirming capital "Tolom Danmi" and 19 planets (resolving the earlier chat inconsistency of "Unity Prime"/"Tolom Danmi" and 9 vs. 19 planets). See Saib Federation. This completes all 21 of MACOFS's pre-existing founding starnations.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — All 21 of MACOFS's pre-existing founding starnations now have full descriptions, not just header data. The creator asked directly whether full descriptions existed comparable to Anaxallar/Saib — an honest check revealed 18 of 21 were still stub pages (header data only). The full descriptions did exist in the source conversation; they simply hadn't been extracted yet. All 18 have now been rebuilt with full paraphrased descriptions (economy, politics, military, strategic goals, culture), matching the depth already given to Abrah, Anaxallar, and Saib. This completes rich, comprehensive coverage of every one of MACOFS's 21 founding member starnations.
- ✅ FINAL correction on Wethrosn/Zein-imar's MACOFS status, per creator. After an earlier back-and-forth (mistakenly listed as founding members → corrected to "joined later" → now finally confirmed), the creator has definitively stated: Wethrosn and Zein-imar are independent starnations that have NOT joined MACOFS, full stop. This directly contradicts a stretch of the source conversation claiming they were among "23 founding members" — the creator confirms this is an error, consistent with other identified inaccuracies in that same conversation. Both pages and MACOFS's own page updated to reflect this final, authoritative status.
- ⚠️ Two MACOFS details flagged by creator for their own future revision: the Starfleet personnel figure (currently "over a trillion members") and the "diplomatic arm-twisting" characterization of MACOFS's foreign policy style — both noted directly in MACOFS's Military section as subject to change; the creator plans to adjust these themselves.
- ✅ MACOFS Treaty signatories list finalized at 20, per creator's uploaded document (after several attempts, with the creator candidly noting fatigue-related mistakes along the way — genuinely appreciated transparency). Confirmed: The MACOFS Treaty has exactly 20 signatories, with MACOFS itself as signatory #8 (not a separate "lead nation" added on top of 19 others, as the archive previously stated). ✅ The Viachon Empire is confirmed NOT a signatory — removed from the list, correcting an earlier archive error. Signatory #2 resolved as Corporation Combined Fleet (CCF), matching an entity already flagged elsewhere in the archive as unbuilt. Full confirmed list: Byzautaus Confederation, CCF, Empire of Xanydeo and Xanthus, Iryan Confederacy, Janastian Warhawks, Jonesboro (State of), Lendro Sek Dominion, MACOFS, Maniskam Provinces, P&D (Ranch), Peplle (Republic of), Peteten Federation, Provinces of Magellan, Sahlem Interstellar Federation, Scollonia Commonwealth, Spartania (Subordinate Member), Subaas Star Republic, Suraghudo Federacy, Three Civilizations, and Tri-Stellar Federation (TSF). 13 of these 20 remain unbuilt as full individual pages (Byzautaus, CCF, Iryan, Lendro Sek, Maniskam, P&D, Peteten, Provinces of Magellan, Sahlem, Scollonia, Suraghudo, Three Civilizations, Tri-Stellar) — flagged for a future session.
- ✅✅✅ Conversation #2 ("MMORPG: Space Battles") marked complete by creator. At 773 messages, this was the largest single conversation processed in the entire project. Successfully extracted: all 21 MACOFS founding starnations, Alasang Republic, Dolphin Republic of Bhetta Zor, the finalized 20-signatory MACOFS Treaty list, Kila Vas's political character, and MACOFS's Constitution/military/commission structure. Explicitly NOT extracted: the conversation's unreliable final third (~540-773), dominated by a failed population-figure-generation struggle for 13 remaining Treaty signatories — confirmed unreliable by the creator's own real-time frustration in the original conversation. See raw-sources tracking file for full detail. This completes processing of conversations-003.json's two largest conversations (#1 and #2).
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — MACOFS Military Maxims fully processed and reorganized, per extensive creator collaboration across many sessions. Confirmed via creator's uploaded .docx: 256 total maxims across 3 parts (Space Warfare 45, Land Warfare 90, Politics and Foreign Policy 121). The original AI-generated categorization (from conversations #83-85 in file 001) claimed genuine conceptual ordering within each thematic category, but the creator identified that most categories were actually just sorted in simple ascending numerical order despite claimed conceptual reasoning — verified rigorously against raw source data. All 32 categories across all 3 sections were then reworked through direct maxim-by-maxim textual analysis with the creator, producing genuine conceptual ordering. Also discovered and fixed: 20 maxims in Section 3 (including the major "Pattern of Dictatorship" concept, Maxim 75) were never assigned to any category in the original source material — all now properly integrated. Three final downloadable files produced. ✅ Also built: Alien Race Compendium (12 races/3 factions, flagged as design template, not confirmed canon). Confirmed unrelated: "Perry Jones Polymath Profile" (real-world creator profile) and "MMORPG Prototype Creation Guide" (real-world business research).
- ✅ New: The Maf Literary Canon Project — a planned world-scale literary anthology framework for Maf; one adopted work built, "I Dreamt of You" (an in-universe love poem). ✅ 2 more Perold Jonas books confirmed: "Deep Blue: Subliminal Covert Operations" (1994, societal-scale destabilization doctrine) and "Ultraviolet: Deep Blue Operations Against Individuals" (1996, individual-scale psychological manipulation), added to Perold Jonas's bibliography. ✅ Built Allotrox System Intelligence Directorate (ASID). ✅ Confirmed Maf/Earth calendar relationship (Maf year 2020 ≈ Earth year 5290) is consistent with, not contradictory to, existing archive content (~5300 AD already documented via the War of IFTR) — initial concern about a contradiction was unfounded once checked.
- ✅ Kila Vas demographic/urban-planning detail added, from a detailed population-modeling conversation. Population refined to 3.312 trillion (fully consistent with the existing 3.3 trillion spreadsheet figure — a nice cross-source confirmation, not a contradiction). Visitor/tourist population ~2.3 trillion present at any given time. Downtown dimensions confirmed: 1,100mi (N-S) × 780mi (E-W). 55% work-from-home rate. Mandatory building energy self-sufficiency citywide. Also confirmed Casino Strip's precise casino count: 23,000 (refining the earlier general "thousands" figure — also consistent, not contradictory).
- ✅✅ MAJOR gap found and fixed, per creator's direct check. When asked "have you created entries for each item for which an entry is needed," a re-check of conversation #87 revealed an entire cluster of significant new Kila Vas geography had been missed — the content was in a long USER message (not the AI's response), which had been under-examined. Built: Dagorb, Tisivet, Teful, Haniah (individual pages for the 4 States, cross-linked to the existing Four States Region page, itself updated with new geographic detail — reverse "S" shape, 400-mile Dagorb triangle, 3,000 miles of southern coastline), Vrobidy Mountains, Sharmarin Ocean, Studio City, The Concourses (two 5,000-mile undersea corridors terminating at the Financial District), Kila Vas Luxury Islands, and Kila Vas Space Port. ✅ Floating Cities conflict resolved, per creator: both sources describe the same 17 structures from different angles, not contradictory accounts. Merged — Smathers' Restaurant remains the founding first city (Roy Smathers, KVDC/4 States Governing Authority licensing story), with "Sports Center" and "Luxury City" now confirmed as two more of the 17 named structures.
- ✅ The MACOFS Constitution given its own dedicated page, consolidating rich new detail: the Constitutional Conference's full attendance (30 star nations, 12 planetary governments, 5 corporations — far broader than the 22 eventual member states), the short 1-2 page Foundational Treaty that preceded the full MACOFS Treaty, the MACOFS Trade Alliance (proposed by Ravel Magrep, confirmed as an Empire-born economist and Constitutional Conference co-chair, but deemed too complex for the Conference itself and deferred to post-Conference committees), and Article XII (the National Assembly's power to censure, fine, suspend, or permanently remove officials "with extreme prejudice"). Also noted the creator's "skits" worldbuilding technique (short in-universe dramatic reenactments of founding moments).
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — full conversation #78 properly archived in full, per creator's direct check ("have you created entries for each item for which an entry is needed"). Confirmed I had only summarized several substantial generated documents rather than preserving them in full. Now built with complete text: Article XII — The National Assembly (all 8 sections plus full commentary — a major constitutional document), The MACOFS Treaty — Full Structural Outline (all 21 Articles plus 9 annex titles, plus the historical detail on how CCF and 8 star nations/6 planetary governments came to join the Treaty instead of the Confederation), The Foundational Treaty of MACOFS (3 full stylistic versions), Statement of Intents and Purposes — MACOFS Trade Alliance Charter, and "The Trade Alliance is Proposed" (the full skit script, dramatizing Ravel Magrep introducing the Trade Alliance concept). Also built Corporation Combined Fleet (CCF), whose origin (5 corporations combining their security forces) was fully explained. Flagged: "Norihing" (a minor delegate nation named only in the skit) and "Sutarett" (an undefined legislative pipeline/body referenced in Article XII's commentary) as open questions for future sessions.
- ✅✅ PROJECT-WIDE RE-AUDIT STARTED, per creator directive. This archive is now confirmed as the SOLE permanent record of Maf source material — see Archival Standard: Full-Text Preservation. Re-auditing conversations-000.json from the very beginning: Conv #4 (NeoMechronica) rebuilt with all 10 full planet descriptions. Conv #5 (the game's origin conversation, "Sci-Fi MMORPG 'Maf: Starfleet'") — built 14 new starnations with full original text: Bloodsport Pirates, Mages of Naeth Forest, Dens of Semblance, Empress Lo's Corporate Regency, Fiirwan Territories, Firebreath Holdfast, Haamarsi Battalions Cartel, House of Tymaeer, Hassz Xer Technate, Bastion of the Homars Belt, Veratrax Arms, Empire of Batagan, Barbarians of Elkonur, The Black Knights. THIS IS AN ONGOING TASK spanning many future sessions — continue from conversation #6 onward next.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — Conv #27 ("NPC Flaws RPG") fully restored. All 21 named characters now have their complete ~3,000-character original background/motivations write-ups (previously condensed to ~5-line summaries): Murray the Fence, Peter Dell, Roger McNeish, General Monqatue, Augment Haven, Bel Szynod, Zitian Osier, Sheilene Murphy, Danny DeMarkos, Lulu Harris, Brian Farthing, Mindy Desplaines, Jimmy Parsons, Barbara Accord, Delaney Metcalfe, Henry Patterson, Drusilla Blackthorn, Marcus Stormbringer, Isabella Ramirez, Victor Hawthorne, Elara Nightshade. This was the smallest of the 5 "large items" deferred for a dedicated pass; remaining: conv #22, #30, #38, #97.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — Conv #38 ("Quest Hooks for Maf") fully restored. Previously flagged as "not reproduced given volume" — now fully preserved: all ~48 character Roles' 3 sample quests each (full title/description text) in Sample Quests by Character Role; all named Career Agent NPCs across the Standard/Difficult/Hard/Extreme contract classes (~90+ agents with locations) in Career Agents — Full Generated List, cross-linked from the existing Career Agents mechanics page; and all 5 Training Track sample tasks in Training Tracks — Sample Tasks. Second of the 5 "large items" complete; remaining: conv #22, #30, #97.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — Stories index built, 22 new short stories preserved in full from conv #30 ("Playable MMORPG from Concept"). New Stories index catalogs all 32 files in the stories directory. Per creator's directive, ALL generated content from this conversation was preserved — including 9 stories with no specific Maf-universe connection (generated on open-ended "any type, your discretion" prompts), since even generic material counts as background/in-world interaction data. Maf-relevant additions: Reunion at the Starport, Legacy of Little Texas, Voyage of the Star Beagle, 5 Shambala crew stories (Legacy, Redemption, Loss, Triumph, Legends), Captain Marquand Neumann, 2 Starlight Queen stories (Stardust Serenade, Celestial Connection), Coin of Fortune (Tim Tebow), and Costumed Encounter. "Haunted Ridge Road" appeared again in this conversation but was excluded per the creator's standing instruction that it remains non-canon flavor content, not an active story. This is the third of the 5 "large items" complete; remaining: conv #22, #97.
- ✅✅✅ MAJOR — Conv #22 ("Government to Commercial Shift") extensively processed — the single richest history conversation in the entire project. Built in full: The Founding of MACOFS: The Secret Committee (the actual alien-contact founding story — 21 starnations approaching Jonas in person, the IFTR war, the Empire of Man's origin, Lum's Worlds), World War 3: Full Detailed Timeline (1976-1987, including Jonas's complete origin story and confirmation that Helvatica the nation is named after Lt. Gen. Johovus Helvatica), Post-War Political Landscape (Emerging Superpowers, the World Council, King Rudy/PejSha's lone victorious resistance), Kila Vas: Economic Recovery and the Police and Crime Act ("Kila Vas's Cold," the full Free Zones origin story), Jon Medaris and the New World Maf Government (DESCO, Tres Galactic Halls, the NWMG's rise and eventual Peacekeeper sovereignty violations), MACOFS Treaty Expansion, EOM Incursions, and the Free Zones (Free Zone count updated 17→21, tragic incidents behind the physical walls, Jahfaz), and Government Space Research Organizations (18 nations' full pre-war space agency table). Also built Lt. Gen. Johovus Helvatica. This is the 4th of the 5 "large items" substantially complete — remaining: conv #97 ("Kila Vas Financial Growth," 633 msgs, the largest in the project).
- ✅✅✅ PROJECT MILESTONE — Conv #97 ("Kila Vas Financial Growth") FULLY COMPLETE. The largest conversation in the entire project (633 messages) has been processed in full, section by section from smallest to largest. Final section, Crime Families, completed with The Godanam Kitirim Murder Investigation (Detective Dominic Vargan, Officer Elena Cruz, Captain Tom Eden, the Guardians unit, and the Marco Delvecchio/Elias Dorn conspiracy thread) — confirmed most other Crime Families content (Sunny Mistrals, Ghourlim Ata-Ushi, Kitirim Crime Family, the Godanam assassination, Guardians) was already well-documented from earlier archive-building sessions. This completes all 5 of the "large items" deferred earlier in this re-audit session: conv #27 (NPC Flaws RPG), conv #38 (Quest Hooks), conv #22 (Government to Commercial Shift), and now conv #97. The project-wide full-text-preservation re-audit of conversations- 000.json remains an ongoing task for future sessions, but this represents the completion of the single largest source conversation in the archive.
Reclassified — No Longer Tracked as Open Questions
- NeoMechronica & sibling planets (NovaLuminara, Elysium Haven, Midway Nexus, Noxarion, Xyronis, Harmonia Prime, Serenitha, Luminastra, Novus Astra) — set aside as a potential future development arc, not active canon. Not currently slated for
/planetsbuild-out. Revisit if/when the creator decides to bring this arc into the main game.
