Dwarves (Maf)

Type: Faction — Species Location: High mountains at the headwaters of the Great River Status: Canon (confirmed by creator)

Overview

A race of dwarves living in the high mountains at the headwaters of the Great River. Dwarves stand roughly 4 to 5 feet tall for males and roughly 3.3 to 4.5 feet tall for females.

Culture

The dwarves consider themselves the "guardians" of the Great River's "birthplace." They are master tunnelers and miners — several of the high mountains contain huge excavated rooms housing large buildings, some 5 to 10 stories tall.

Trade

The dwarves export nothing to the "lowlands" peoples. Their only trading partners are the elves downriver.
