The MACOFS Treaty

Type: Systems/Faction — Defense & Commercial Alliance Status: 🟤 Muddy source — see MACOFS for the muddy-source note Source: Medium

Overview

Formed shortly after MACOFS's founding (2007), via a convention establishing the "Assembled Representatives of the Free Galaxies." ✅ Confirmed by creator: the treaty has exactly 20 signatories, with MACOFS itself as one of the 20 (not a separate "lead nation" added on top). The Viachon Empire is not a signatory, superseding an earlier (incorrect) archive note.

Worldbuilding Significance

  • What/who is the "Empire of Man"? Implied to be an even more powerful entity than the MACOFS Treaty alliance — not yet documented
