Summary

Continuing directly from Part Two: after 7 months on the ocean floor, the Ark Royal's survivors build a submersible fleet and ferry to shore over 160 hours, landing June 22, 1893 (Maf local calendar). ✅ The crash itself killed 3,051 people and injured 17,236. The full evacuation required an estimated 8,380 total trips via 313 submersibles, each round-trip taking about 6 hours, departing at 15-minute intervals — the first submersible unloaded just before midnight, with over 2,000 Colonists encamped on the beach by dawn. They discover Maf's native population run notably taller than Earth- average (men ~5.9-7+ ft, women ~5.6-6.7 ft) and conceal their true origin with a fabricated refugee story. After negotiating with the nation of Peplle, the Colonists settle a ceded peninsula and found Jonesboro, named for the Jones family — into which Perold Jones (born aboard the Ark Royal) grows up. In 1898, the Jones family founds LMT (Maf) in tribute to Vee's Earth LMT Corporation. Decades later, an adult Perold Jones leads an expedition across the continent and, in 1939, discovers the Janastian Islands, where he renames himself Perold Jonas and enrolls at the Durin College of War.
