Overview

Three sports found nowhere else but Kila Vas. See also Zoota for a fourth, cult-favorite Kila Vas-original sport.

1. Quasar Clash

A team-based sport played in a spherical, zero-gravity arena called the Quasar Dome, combining strategy, athleticism, and quick reflexes around an energy orb called the Star Core.

Gameplay: Two teams of five, in gravity-nullifying suits with propulsion jets, carry or pass the Star Core into the opponent's goal — an energy field that temporarily deactivates the orb when it passes through. Specialized gloves allow slingshot-style throws, controlled spins, or temporary force-field shields. The Star Core periodically emits energy bursts that can disorient players or deactivate propulsion systems, adding unpredictability.

What makes it unique: The Star Core's ever-changing dynamics and three-dimensional zero-g movement make it a game of spatial awareness and team strategy as much as raw athleticism — dazzling visuals and chaotic bursts of action are a favorite in holographic replay.

2. Sandrift Skirmish

Played in the Kila Vas Red Dunes, blending parkour, relay racing, and combat simulation across a shifting desert landscape.

Gameplay: Two teams of six compete on a massive, artificially shifting dune field (underground machinery constantly reshapes the terrain, creating slopes, sinkholes, and sudden crests). Players capture and deliver Beacon Crystals to goal zones while avoiding the other team, equipped with non-lethal stunners, shields, and grappling hooks. Points score via successful deliveries or tagging out opponents.

What makes it unique: The combination of dynamic terrain and tactical gameplay — players must adapt to ever-changing conditions while staying ahead of opponents, vaulting, sliding, and grappling across the dunes.

3. Lumen Strike

Played in the dark, neon-lit Aurora Arena, fusing dance, martial arts, and strategy around energy manipulation.

Gameplay: Two teams of four compete on a hexagonal arena floor divided into energy tiles. Players carry Lumen Wands, channeling energy from tiles to create temporary barriers, traps, or energy projectiles. The goal is activating/controlling Lumen Nodes scattered across the arena (each controllable only for a limited time before deactivating and reappearing elsewhere). Physical contact is allowed but must be choreographed, leading to dance-like combat sequences.

What makes it unique: The glow of energy tiles and the fluid, almost artistic player movements create an unforgettable visual experience — as much performance as competition.
