Over 700 planetary governments exist. Defined as a nation whose boundaries and territory exist exclusively on a planet's surface, including underground, sea, air, or undersea facilities — may have a minor space presence (satellites/stations) but no territory beyond the planet's land-based boundaries. Full maps/lists not available; the following is a partial sample recalled from memory. "Self" as capital = City-State. "Ranch"/"ranch" = a privately-owned sovereign entity, usually owned by one person or family, run primarily as a ranch.
