Stats: 3,000+ corporations, 700+ planetary countries, 200+ starnations and STCs combined. Photo caption: "Looking out of Hotel Rasmosen, northern sector of Kila Vas, Rwechyn Oasis."
Glossary (as originally stated):
- Corporation: any organization/association, incorporated or not, for-profit or public-benefit.
- Planetary Country/Nation: a nation-state with clearly defined borders, a political structure, active military and/or police, judiciary, and economic system all bound within those borders. May be pre-space or have space access; if it has space access, generally no permanent inhabited space structures and no established space program beyond occasional satellite/research launches.
- Space-Traveling Civilization: a planetary nation with an active space program, but no more than 3 permanent inhabited space stations and/or no more than 3 non-planetary spacecraft (atmosphere-incapable).
- Starnation: a nation with no less than four permanently inhabited space stations AND four permanent non-planetary spacecraft AND habitations within no less than two solar systems. [NOTE: this figure of "four" stations conflicts with "So You Want to Buy a Country?"'s figure of two — creator has since designated 2+ as canon; preserved here as originally published.]
- HD: Helvatica Dollars. 1,000,000 HD = $1.00 USD.
