Overview

The Arts District is a creative and cultural district that has repurposed old factories and warehouses for artistic endeavors — studios, galleries, and collectives now occupy renovated industrial spaces once used for manufacturing. It sits just north of Lumina University ("Lumina U"), whose student population sustains a cluster of campus-adjacent cafés, study spaces, and creative businesses within the district. Coastal Serenity Park, a quarter-square-mile, V-shaped park extending into the coastline, sits at the district's southern edge, adjacent to the University.

Street Performers

The district is known for its vibrant street performance culture, including The Living Statue of Lumina, The Fire-Dancing Duo, The Musical Puppeteer, The Bubble Magician, The Living Chalkboard, The Acrobatic Jugglers, The Mime Artist with a Twist, The Human Statue Painter, The Magical Storyteller, and The Harmonious Street Band.
