Overview

Formerly (from about 100 years ago until roughly 30 years before the present) the first stop for caravans, miners, and other desert travelers to replenish their water supplies and grab a bite to eat. Today, beer and liquor flow far more readily than water, though burgers and hearty meals can still be found. At night, the Canteen transforms into a rock-and-roll haven featuring older, established bands alongside newer, upcoming ones — many of whom will never find another place to play, but it's all in good fun.
